Pizza was actually pretty good, but it didn't match the picture. I do appreciate the owner reaching out. My review was pretty harsh at first so I'm revising it. The atmosphere was good, the employee was very nice and offered to remake the pizza. I declined because I was hungry. Overall, I really did like the food, it just wasn't oozing with cheese like the corporate picture on the website.
Update: Benjamin, the owner, reached out shortly after this review and was extremely apologetic and did assure me that the next time we decide to dine with his restaurant, he would be making this right. Thank you, Benjamin for the excellent customer service and for compensating for this mishap on our next visit. He made sure to call from his personal number so that I could contact him before ordering again so that he could take care of my next order. While I’m not happy about tonight’s pizza, I’m glad to know that the owners truly do care about any mishaps that occur while they are out of the restaurant. He also assured me that although he was busy at another company he owns, he did take the time to reach out to the staff on duty tonight to assure this does not happen to any customer again. So upset. Ordered half the pizza to be buffalo chicken and this is not what is pictured or described at all. They essentially poured the sauce on the pizza. What I ordered vs what I got.. see what I’m seeing? Can’t even eat it. Really hope to hear back from management and that they make this right somehow. Not sure if it was intentional, but they handed me the items directly so I couldn’t even check the box before leaving. Seriously sad about this.
I had a great experience at Stoners! The pizza was fresh, hot, and full of flavor. You can definitely tell they’re putting care into both the food and the customer experience. If you haven’t been there since it’s been under new management, I definitely recommend giving them another try. Go show the new manager some love and support. He’s doing a fantastic job, and I hope the business continues to thrive. I’ll definitely be back!
This has to be the best pizza i have ever tasted! Absolutely love this place! The pizza is always fresh and tastes amazing every time I order. The employees are super kind, welcoming, and hardworking, and you can tell they really care about their customers. The atmosphere is friendly, and the service is always great. Definitely one of my favorite pizza spots in St. Augustine!
IT’S THE BEST PIZZA — truly! It tastes like a homemade pie but with fast‑casual convenience. I ordered the “No Brainer,” and it absolutely lived up to the name. The veggies were clearly hand‑chopped and fresh, not frozen, and you can even see their commercial mixer when you order because they make their dough from scratch every single day. Makenna made my pizza, and it was PERFECTION. The dough was unbelievably good — I’m someone who sometimes leaves the crust, but never at Stoner’s. I ate every bite. HIGHLY recommend!
