The owner proved it's their business
A business is Verified when the person who claimed it signed in with an email at the business's own website domain, or passed a manual check against Florida Sunbiz records and the listed phone number. Verified owners can edit their listing, answer questions and reply to reviews. Unclaimed listings are built from public information and say so.
A rule, recalculated every night
Google rating of 4.6 or higher with at least 25 Google reviews, published on 904biz, and not a national chain. It's awarded by year and removed automatically if a business drops below the line. Paying for a plan does not affect it.
Owned by someone in the 904
Set by the verified owner and spot-checked by us. National and regional chains are hidden from 904biz entirely; franchise locations owned by a local operator may qualify.
What paid plans change
Premium and Featured listings appear higher on the page and get a video, gallery and more content. A Category Sponsor holds the #1 spot with a clearly labeled “Sponsored by” banner. That's placement, and we label it. It is never a badge of quality.
