The owner family came from Brooklyn, NYC, so they serve authentic Brooklyn-style pizza. We tried the classic cheese pizza and the white pizza, and both were absolutely fantastic. The restaurant is quite small, but they have a spacious patio table and a few small tables outside, making it a great spot for a family dinner. I had the pleasure of chatting with the owner, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. The pizza guy, Eddie, showed me his pizza-making process, and I thoroughly enjoyed watching him work. (You can see everything!) We also ordered the zeppole, which were so delicious!
We were in St Johns County for a tournament and we're looking for something that we didnt have out towards the beach in Jacksonville and came across Miei Amici. SO glad we went! The Buffalo Chicken pizza was amazing, perfect amount of heat, even my husband who doesnt go for Buffalo had 2 slices after he had his pizza. My youngest loved the spaghetti and tried some Alfredo (he now has asked for it every day 😂). The garlic knots and cannoli were delicious too! We will be making a trip back for sure!! 🤌
As a New Yorker I have got to say what a disappointment. Saw their menu and came in with high hopes but wow did they really drop the ball. $21 for a marlon brando sub (asked to exclude the prosciutto). What I got was a sub that barely had any chicken cutlet in it (rubbery as well), the thinnest piece of fried eggplant and a bunch of cherry peppers. I’ll let the pictures do the talking. For comparison ive attached a menu picture of a restaurant ive been going to for years in Staten Island, NY and their chicken serving is at least 3x what was in my hero I got from here and their prices are better. Not sure how a place in St Johns, FL is charging more and serving less. Not worth it unless you like paying $20+ for a hero bread stuffed with 2 chicken tenders
I fear I am falling in love with this place - and it’s nearby?! Dangerous combo. I can hands down say this is the best pizza around - no doubt! I visited NYC and haven’t stopped thinking about the pizza I had while I was there… nothing in Jax/st John’s compared - Miei Amici Pizzeria hit that craving perfectly. The ingredients are extremely fresh and you can tell this pizza has real roots behind it. I couldn’t even take a picture before I downed a slice. The crunch of the crust and the soft cheesy top is what I was constantly searching for and no longer have to. Consistently amazing. Owner was kind and offered some friendly chats while I was paying - appreciate the tattoo love 🫶🏼 I’ll be back. Again. 🍕
Wonderful family NYC style pizza. Want to get something for the family or to share at the party? This place will not disappoint. Great customer service. No need to get pizza anywhere else.
