I wholeheartedly recommend United A/C. I was having intermittent shutdown issues with my air conditioner, which is fairly new and was installed in 2020. The first A/C company sent by AHS was completely dishonest. At first, they told me I needed a new compressor that would cost over $5,000 to $6,000. When I disputed that diagnosis, they changed their story and said they could fix it by replacing a float switch for $400 and adding refrigerant for $1,600. That was already shocking, so I contacted the manufacturer, who asked me for the service report. The same company then came back with yet another diagnosis, claiming the A/C was “seized.” I questioned that immediately because the fan was still working, so that explanation did not make sense. At that point, with so many red flags and conflicting diagnoses, I requested a second opinion from AHS. I am very grateful that United A/C was sent out. Eric was knowledgeable, professional, honest, and extremely thorough. He carefully walked through every step of the diagnostic process to determine why the system had shut off intermittently three times. In the end, he did not find any of the serious problems the first technician had claimed. United A/C restored my confidence. They were honest, professional, and clearly knew what they were doing. I truly appreciate their integrity and their work, and I highly recommend them to anyone experiencing A/C issues.
Great service by Eric however, my Trane AC is ONLY a year old and parts are needed to be replaced. Scary . Maybe American Standard is the issue (unit) Or was it the installation that was the issue? I’m going to need an inspection of this unit to feel comfortable.

My husband and I an extremely please with the service, knowledge and professionalism Eric provided to us during one of the coldest days in Jacksonville. Out until went out and we had no heat. Eric was on time, he was respectful towards us and our home. and he immediately identified the issue and we had heat in less than 30 minutes. Thank you United Air Temp for employing knowledgeable and pleasant individuals, such as Eric.
My service technician Willie was very knowledgeable and professional. From the time he arrived to the time he finished was top notch. I whould recommend United Air Temp to anyone that needs A/C work done right.
