Sushi Zento & Grill

Tempted to try this place based on the stars on Google and we were not disappointed, omg! Complimentary miso soup, a special holiday roll, and a fried oreo for dessert. Fun boba tea, decor/atmosphere, and extremely kind staff. Visited on a Monday night and were pleasantly surprised there were a bunch of people also dining (not too busy) and just overall had a marvelous time. I like their menu is separated by raw and cooked fish if you are particular about that. In my group we ordered a variety of items - hibachi, japanese noodles, sushi, and edamame and everything was great. They were also playing the most relaxing piano music. Thank you.

My daughters and I went here yesterday for the first time and we loved it! Super friendly service and the food was so good! We definitely will be back.

We are on a quick trip to St Augustine, staying on the beach and were not in the mood for the many choices of fried seafood at the local places. After reading the reviews we selected this place and it was simply awesome. Our server, Jia was welcoming, friendly and very sweet. As soon as we sat down we were given a simple but delicious soup with mushrooms and tempura bits. Best soup I’ve had at a sushi restaurant. We started with the tuna tataki app and then ordered the love roll and moon roll. They were brought out on a beautiful wooden stand with multiple levels displaying the sushi really well. Each roll was outstanding in presentation, form and taste. After dinner we were provided with a complimentary fried Oreo and, surprised when Jia gave each of us a super cute Japanese “sippy cup” to remember this place. There was no need to remind us as it was one of the best sushi experiences we have had. Go there and support this fantastic little spot. You won’t regret it.

We ordered our sushi takeout and spent probably $80 on 5 sushi’s. To be honest when we saw it we thought the sushis were small. All but one order were special rolls between $15 to $18 per rolls the none special was like $7. Aside from the first container the rest of the sushi tasted plain like ordinary rolls. Im surprised this place have really high rating but probably because its a tourist area people are happy enough with the sushis. They were yummy for sure but definitely could have been better. Maybe add some more drizzle of sauce on them and increase the size a bit for the special rolls. The white sushi should be the none special roll for size comparison
