We visited this pizza place today and had an overall good experience. The garlic bread was okay — nothing particularly special, but still enjoyable. The marinara sauce was a little too sweet for my personal taste, though it was still good overall. The chicken parm was just okay. The chicken itself was a bit bland, and most of the flavor came from the sauce rather than the meat. The pizza, however, was really good. You could tell the ingredients were high quality. The crust was crispy with no flop, but not so hard that it hurt your gums — just the right balance. The service and ambience were both good and made for a pleasant dining experience.
Pizza has been one of my foodie addictions in life but who doesn’t like pizza? Over the years I’ve eaten at hundreds of establishments from Ny city, Boston/ Connecticut, Miami and everywhere in between! From hole in the walls to nicer novelty places. I’ve lived in Fl for nearly 25 years now, 1/3rd in South Fl and the rest in Saint Johns county. I have worked my way through the pizza scene here. Bronx, particularly this location, has become my favorite here! My go to for a quick slice, a whole pie, or a casual sit down. Their pizza has the perfect crust! Their dinners are equally delicious! The locations are clean, staff are always friendly and welcoming! It’s no secret why they are on their 11 or 12th? Location! I won’t ever stop trying new places but they will be hard to beat!
We had lunch at this Bronx House Pizza - St. Augustine Beach location, on a weekday in March 2026. They were not overly busy at the time when we arrived. Although it did pick up a little while we were there. I kind of liked the bare walls and floor look, with the no frills look of decorating. There were booths along the walls that seemed comfortable to us. We ordered a pie and drinks. They didn’t take all that long to bring it out. About what you would figure the time to take. Our server seemed nice. But seemed preoccupied with other things in life while we were there. I watched her clean a booth across the room from us, then stopped by to say something to the table next to us. While at the next booth, she dropped multiple items off one of the plates that looked like tomatoes or such. They then laid on the floor between our two booths at least until we were gone. I watched the waitress look down at them more than once as she just walked over them. It had me wondering why she couldn’t pick them up. I almost used my napkin to clean them up. But didn’t want to make it obvious. The pizza itself looked the part of a proper NY style pizza. Although it lacked the sole that makes NY pizza great. Maybe it was the lack of oil dripping out the back of the slice. Maybe it was the taste. Maybe both. It was okay. But to me it kind of looked the part, but didn’t taste the part of a proper NY pizza. Don’t get me wrong, it wasn’t bad. Unfortunately it didn’t live up to the vision the name and look of the pizza put in my head. And yes, if in the area again, I would consider lunch here again. I just wouldn’t go out of my way to visit, unless of course, I was already in the area.
Ordered online and food came quickly. Too quickly for them to have ensured quality apparently. The Popeye pizza was quite good and the crusts in both pizzas were crunchy like we like it. BUT, the red sauce on one pizza was tareless and the toppings pretty scarce. The worst parts were the 2 salads. Both were full of rotten lettuce and the toppings for the Greek consisted of black (not Greek) olives and little crumbles of tasteless feta, no cucumber. The antipasto salad had the same exact rotten lettuce, a few slivers of cold cuts and the same black olives. I took a pic after already having thrown out a lot of lettuce...I mean, seriously?? Who doesn't notice this is what they are making a salad with??!!??
Ordered a 12” pizza and fried raviolis. A lot of people going in and out made me think it was popular so we tried it. My standards are just higher than most. Pizza was greasy. Raviolis, well, Totino’s pizza rolls would’ve been better. I’m not saying this to discourage you from going. I like my wife’s cooking. She would give Bobby Flay a run for his money.
