REAL Movement Physical Therapy

REAL Movement changed my life for the better. I am an active 50-year old male who plays tennis, golf and enjoys Orangetheory and lifting weights. At 49 my body started failing- particularly my lower back and inner, right shoulder. Dr Barton somehow fixed my lower back and shoulders with visits twice a week and also gave me exercises for my shoulder which allows me to continue my active lifestyle. On a personal note, Dr Barton has a good heart and takes interest in each patient. She also offered to get an Amazon package delivered to my house during a work trip so it wouldn’t get stolen. She is an amazing person and I recommend her without hesitation. 👍👊

In late December I traveled 90 minutes from SE GA for treatment at Real Movement PT for an extremely painful hip that had severely hampered my mobility. Friends at my CrossFit box referred me to Jen Dieter and guaranteed her help would be worth the 3-hour roundtrip. They were so right! After 3 visits spaced over about 5 weeks, I was able to walk pain free, and now 4 months later, I just achieved a PR in a functional fitness event that includes a variety of workout zones and running. I compete in the 65-69 age group, so I wasn’t sure I’d ever be able to run well again, but this experience taught me an important lesson: next time I’m hurting, I won’t wait to schedule an appointment with Jen. Real Movement Physical Therapy is amazing! The entire staff is incredibly knowledgeable, highly skilled, and genuinely caring. I had seen several other providers before coming to them, and no one had been able to resolve my knee pain but since working with their team, I've had a complete resolution of my symptoms. Real Movement PT has been a game changer for me. Jen has extensive training and continuing education, and has been able to fix all kinds of odd injuries and tweaks for me over the years. I first met Jen through the CrossFit community, but her personal training, physical therapy, and general wellness guidance has been a long-lasting benefit, far beyond the sport. She’s organized and on time, her offices are all extremely clean, and she has a bright and bubbly personality that makes makes the (sometimes) pain and discomfort of PT a whole lot easier to bear.
