Everyone here is awesome! Dr. Brown is a fantastic DPT. He’s incredibly knowledgeable and patient, does great work, and will help you accomplish your goal. I really like that. He explains things in depth and takes a holistic approach to your treatment. I came in for a knee injury, and they were able to get me back on the bike and running again safely. I like the home exercises. The rest of the staff is also fantastic: Jessica at the front is friendly and prompt (and quick to respond and help out when another facility made a mistake about an MRI order), Jared was great helping with exercises, and Josh was great with strengthening. Very happy with services overall and definitely recommend them. Plus the facility is nice and clean - a big plus!

I came in for headaches and nerve pain and had an excellent experience from day one. Dr. Brown is thorough, thoughtful, and truly cares about your progress. Jessica at the front desk is always welcoming and on top of everything, Jared was great to work with during sessions, and Josh made the strengthening work both effective and encouraging. They also do a great job of building a program to keep you focused on recovery at home, sharing helpful exercises and tips to remain on the path to recovery! I’m incredibly grateful to be feeling better, but will genuinely miss seeing the team each week. The staff at Active Health is exceptional not only in their expertise, but in how personally invested they are in your care. I highly recommend them to anyone seeking a holistic approach to treatment, and am very happy I was referred to this group!

When I first started PT after my back surgery, I was in constant pain. I couldn’t sleep, couldn’t even lay comfortably in bed, and had such profound weakness that I experienced several falls. Working with Dr. Chris Brown, DPT, Josh Wise, PTA, and their assistant Jared completely changed that. After my course of treatment, I’ve accomplished all of my goals — I’m pain-free, no longer have drop foot or falls, and can get down on the floor with my kids and get back up again without pain. I can run, play, and even ride scooters with them. And as a true Floridian, I was devastated when I couldn’t wear flip-flops due to foot weakness — but that’s been fully resolved thanks to their incredible work! As a physical therapist myself, I was admittedly skeptical that I really needed therapy, but these guys are worth their weight in gold. I learned so much, and the hands-on work addressed the underlying causes of my pain, not just the symptoms. After this experience, I’ll never hesitate to go to therapy again — and I’ll never go anywhere but Active Health. Thank you, Dr. Brown, Josh, and Jared, for helping me get my life back!
