I had a great experience at Miksell PT from my very first visit. Everyone was welcoming, and I immediately felt comfortable walking through the door. Emily at the front desk was fantastic. She was friendly, organized, and made everything easy from scheduling to answering questions. She’s the kind of person who makes a great first impression for a practice. Justin really took the time to listen, explain what they were seeing, and make me feel like my concerns mattered. I never felt rushed, and the entire experience felt personal from start to finish. When I first started seeing Taylor, chronic foot and shoulder pain was keeping me from sleeping, exercising, or traveling. Multiple rounds of physical therapy at other practices had failed, and orthopedic doctors were recommending bilateral shoulder replacements and a knee replacement. Fast forward six months, and I truly have my life back! I am sleeping well, walking on the beach, traveling again and will soon start a strength training program. Taylor possesses a combination of skills that gets results. His HANDS-ON approach stands in stark contrast to my past experiences, where therapists simply assigned exercises from a computer list and turned me over to an assistant. Taylor effectively applies his mastery of body mechanics, analytical skills and intuitive feel to identify the root cause of pain, determine which body parts aren't moving correctly, and provide the HANDS-ON treatment needed to restore proper movement. He is able to think outside the box to tailor treatment for bodies with physical limitations due to past injuries. I appreciate that he always asks for and listens to feedback. It is clear that he genuinely wants to eliminate his patients' pain. I notice improvement after nearly every weekly visit, making my one-way drive of over an hour well worth it. It is wonderful to see Taylor and his business partner and wife, Regan, building a team of therapists that achieves these same great results. I’m so thankful I heard about Miksell because their physical therapy methods are indeed many steps above and beyond the PT that so many have, unfortunately, come to accept. My therapist, Lou, works with me individually during my entire appointment. After massaging my areas of pain to release tension in tight and stiff muscles, Lou guides me through every exercise to make sure all are done correctly. He explains which muscles are involved and how strengthening the supporting muscles addresses the pain. I always feel so much better as well as more hopeful after a PT session at Miksell Physical Therapy and Wellness.

I have worked with Taylor through 2 knee replacements and shoulder pain. He is very thorough and knowledgeable and my recovery has always impressed my doctors.
