Take Control Physical Therapy

When I met Andrew, I had seen 2 other physical therapists and a spine specialist at Mayo clinic. I had been dealing with pain in my lower back for several months and it was keeping me from doing all of the activities that I enjoyed. I was struggling to even carry groceries into the house from my car. We started slow with some home exercises and over the course of about 3 months, we gradually worked up to where I could run again. Patience and following his home plan is key. I would strongly recommend seeing Andrew for your physical therapy needs.

I’ve struggled with my scoliosis since my teens, suffering pain and limited mobility that continued to worsen with age and having children. Dr. Andrew’s approach to pain and movement is unprecedented in my experience. He utilizes a variety of techniques including the Schroth method. I’m so thankful for immediate pain relief within the first appointment, through movements and exercises I can do on my own! My mindset has shifted from “how do I orient my life around this pain” to “how do I want to get stronger and move better!” Thank you Dr. Andrew for sharing your gift and keeping me motivated to work on my healing.

This place is fantastic and the Doctor showed me all that I needed for now. I spent time here and learned to take control… I came in with back pain and Dr Andrew resolved my pain by providing exercises. I even have recorded the exercises so I can study them. It’s important to follow the provided techniques shown. Who got me to this place ? My wife strongly suggested I go to a specialist that deals with curved back. With me I bend over while on a phone and when I stand I’m bent over. This is a major problem and gives me back pain to the point I can’t lay on my back comfortably. I have so called taken control and continue the exercises provided. Doctor also followed up by showing me key pointers from a book: McKenzie Method. I have the instruction videos of myself and the book. Next, it’s up to me to Take Control and continue the exercises. Doctor is the most knowledgeable Physical Therapist, that I know. I have been to many PT locations in the area. Dr Andrew, I feel, was the only therapist to identify and explain why I’m in pain. Think about it, you go get help at some place, and they tell you to do a few exercises and come back next week. But Doctor Andrew explains things one on one, private sessions. And you feel better with an understanding of why pain and what to do to help me. Thank you Doctor Andrew

Was in a horrific motorcycle accident. Multiple surgeries, year and a half recovery with PT. Now end of year 3, went to Dr. Merget to get more range of motion and in just 2 visits he has made a difference and given me daily exercises that take 2 minutes each time and I feel and operate much better. He knows what he is doing.
