They installed the system half the problems I’m having going with no ac and sweating is because they didn’t install drip pan so it’s drilling all over my floor costing me more money like it’s my fault they didn’t do it right the first time. Then the starter button when it keeps shutting off causing it to constantly shut off and then come back to fix it it’s a living hell. And they installed the ac unit from the first time and these little things are such big hassles because they cost more and more visits had they done this the first time upon installation
Nick’s guys replaced our 5 ton indoor and outdoor unit last May when ours went out! They were quick and the most cost effective of the companies we quoted. Their guys were polite and professional. They also provided a years worth of air filters. Can’t recommend them enough.
Their phone number is not working... Nick's Dolar and Air failed to install drip pans on our brand new $15K system. If (when) our air handlers eventually leak, our new floors will be damaged, unless we remedy the problem. We also had a fresh air return and dehimidifier installed. I contacted the dehumidifier manufacturer and they (as well as several third-party hvac companies) confirmed that the installation is a joke. I am hiring a company with more integrity to complete the work properly.
Today a technician from solar came to replace the a/c unit. Brian Santiago worked tirelessly until 9pm this Sunday with the most caring attitude. He didn’t leave until every bolt was in place. His professionalism and kindness need to be recognized. As he was working on the a/c unit, a pipe under the sink fell out of place and a good amount of water came gushing out. He immediately stopped what he was doing and came to the rescue and assured me that he could help. He actually did!!!! I truly believe the world would be a better place if more people showed the regard for other humans that Brian showed today. Congratulations to Solar for hiring workers of such caliber. Hope his pay reflects that as well.
Do not use Nicks Solar or any other company name this guy does business under. I bought a house that the previous owner had a new AC installed by Nick. They fixed a evaporator core under warranty. When I went to put a new roof on my house I found out that Nick never closed the work permit. It took about a week just to get someone on the phone. Now my fan has gone out, I using a more reputable AC company and just found out that Nicks never registered my warranty. So instead of 10 year warranty I only got 5. Stay far away from this guy. Even if he seems cheaper you get what you pay for.
