I had an excellent experience with Francis from Del-Air. He was extremely knowledgeable, professional, and helpful throughout the entire visit. As a new homeowner, I had a lot of questions about our HVAC system, and Francis took the time to answer every one of them thoroughly and explain everything in a way that was easy to understand. I was particularly concerned about some mildew I had noticed around a few of our A/C vents. Francis carefully evaluated the issue, explained what could be contributing to it, and gave me practical recommendations for addressing it and preventing it from returning. He also went through our HVAC system to make sure all of the necessary maintenance was up to date and explained what we should be doing going forward to properly maintain the system. I really appreciated that he never made me feel rushed and was genuinely willing to answer all of my questions. It gave me a lot more confidence in understanding and caring for our HVAC system. I would highly recommend Francis and Del-Air to anyone looking for knowledgeable, professional, and trustworthy HVAC service. Thank you, Francis, for such a great experience!
Over more than two decades I was using McGown Services, and when Del-Air took an ownership I was a little bit skeptical. Today I had my second time A/C maintenance and I couldn't be more happier. Antonio was my technician and he did an outstanding job! Extremely polite manners, very professional and knowledgeable. He took the time to address all my concerns to make sure my A/C unit runs smoothly. Antonio arrived within the scheduled time frame and performed the service very efficiently. He even went above and beyond to fix a drain pipe that was not properly installed in the first place. I highly recommend this young man from Del-Air. I intend to continue my business with this company. Thank you for being professional! Job well done!
Unfortunately, I had an awful experience with Del Air. I used them previously for several years and always got good honest technicians. Recently, a technician came to my home and tried to rip me off. I will leave out the name just because I’m not one to try and seek revenge. My AC unit was leaking and the technician revealed my drain pan was damaged. Upfront, I said I am trying to find the cheapest way to repair the system because I’m not ready to buy a new system right now. He told me he would quote me for the drain pan replacement and a new unit. He came back in my home with his tablet immediately to discuss pricing for a new unit. I asked eventually how much it would be just for the drain pan repair and he quoted me over $4000 verbally. However, in my experience I always received a written quote from Del Air on their recommended repairs. However, I noticed despite his verbal quote, I never received the normal written quote for the price of the drain repair. After he left, I decided to Google my ac model and serial number to see if I could find the part he claimed was almost 3,000 by itself. I found the part for $271 online. I then called out a reputable company who advised they could put the drain pan in for $875. He deliberately over quoted me in hopes he could get me to purchase a new system. Thank God I decided to investigate before the tech came out and installed the new system the next day and was able to cancel the install. I have never received such scamming messed up service from Del Air in an attempt to make a sale. To say the least, I will never trust a technician from Del Air again and they have destroyed business with a customer who was loyal for many years, all just to get a sale. Sadly, Del Air would have been my first choice for a new system install when it was the right timing for my family. Now, I can’t trust them ever. Shame on you. Shame on you!
So I really want to take time out to shout out Jacob. He was dispatched to my house for my service which was scheduled at a later than expected to perform a leak test on my AC unit 6-10pm and he tried super hard to find the issue with zero visibility. Unfortunately he couldn't find any leak but was able to have my system functioning through the night. Keeping my family cooled till they can return in the morning to finish up. The thoughtful above and beyond approach was greatly appreciated.
Our technician, Kasey, did an OUTSTANDING job servicing our air conditioner!!! He was very thorough, knowledgeable and professional, and provided great recommendations to us. Keep up the good work and I will definitely request Kasey’s services for my next service appointment…
