When our 12-year old AC stopped cooling right after our return from vacation in the middle of a heatwave, we called Cool R Us, among few other independently owned firms, on a Sunday afternoon, asking for a new system install ASAP. Lek, the owner, said they had the equipment I wanted on hand and an available install slot first thing Monday morning, which we took. The crew arrived, dismantled the old system, installed the new system well, cleaned up, and turned on the AC to everyone's relief. The new Trane equipment is energy efficient, quiet, and reasonably priced. I would recommend Cool R Us to anyone looking for a new system or a repair for their professionalism, flexibility, and no-pressure sales tactic that is becoming the industry standard now that more and more AC firms are getting acquired by private equity.
The AC installation went very smoothly. The installer, Vase, was very professional and did a great job from start to finish. He arrived on time, worked efficiently, and made sure everything was installed correctly. The system is running perfectly, and he also took the time to explain how everything works. Overall, I’m very satisfied with the service and would highly recommend them.
Very upset! The tech was not very thorough ac was freezing up blamed it on the filter being dirty I always change the filter he didn’t even check coils inside to see if anything was on them. We paid over $100 for nothing we asked if he could attach uv light that came unscrewed when we took a pic to show what was going on he told us he would have to charge additional $75 to attach it back on ok. Here’s a pic of dirty coil that froze again he could have just brushed it off. Feel so ripped off. Only good thing was the customer service department was very helpful and contacted us back very fast got someone out right away. Just wish they could have sent a more knowledgeable repair person. Review keeps getting hidden.
Cool R Us Is an AWESOME company and they did an AWESOME job. Skerdi and Abdul worked so hard to assemble my new AC unit with precision and perfection. They took care not to mess up my floors, they took their time so as not to rush the job and they were very courteous and polite. Before the job was complete Elloi and Victor showed up to offer assistance to make sure they left me with a smooth, running AC. In addition to all of this fine work, I found the price to be fair. Especially compared to the quote I got from another company which was $5000 more… That nearly blew me away. Thank you Coo R Us!
I had an outstanding experience with Cool R Us. They provided an unbeatable quote for our new HVAC system, and their annual maintenance service is consistently professional and thorough. I highly recommend them to anyone in the Jacksonville area looking for honest, reliable service. I especially appreciate their integrity. My in-laws previously used another company that tried to pressure my mother-in-law into purchasing a $16,000 unit by demanding a $2,000 down payment. After we called Cool R Us for a second opinion, they performed an annual service and confirmed there was absolutely nothing wrong with her current unit. I am so grateful that Cool R Us operates with such honesty and doesn't take advantage of seniors. Her unit is still running perfectly today, and we couldn't be happier.
