We have been having AC issues for the last few years. It never failed that in the heat of summer something would require a call to Chiller Medic. They were always responsive, helpful and honest. Well this last week instead of a small fix we were in need of a fix that cost more than I wanted to pay for a 14 year old unit. Greg at Chiller Medic was very helpful educating us on our options with no push in any direction just offering information. We decided to go for a new unit instead of throwing good money at an old unit. They came out and finished the job in just a few hours even with a small hiccup. The new unit is working great and I would highly recommend Chiller Medic to do the work and do the right thing by their customers.
AC failed on a Saturday. Chiller Medic came out Saturday and diagnosed the issue and ordered significant parts and had the unit fixed Monday. Fast service and accurate diagnosis. Cadence was our technician for this repair and he was professional and thorough.
I called at 8:15am. They had Kolby at my house within an hour. He did a full systems check, identified the problem, and even after fixing it, ensured everything else was up to par. He was very thoughtful, explaining to me what he was looking for, and even telling me how he'd fix it. This guy should be an instructor at an HVAC tech school, he's knowledgeable, patient, and people-oriented. (BTW, anyone who still has a smile on their face after putting up with a grumpy home owner who has spent the night without AC with 97 degrees Real Feel temperature- they should get a raise! Go Kolby!
Thank you Greg & Chiller! These guys are fabulous! They’re honest and do great work. My AC went out and I had DavidGray come out. Thank god I had Chiller do a follow up. They saved me a ton of money I would have been screwed out of had I went with DavidGray. So happy there are still honest and legit companies like Chiller still around! Use them!
The technician arrived on time and spent about 1.5 hours inspecting my unit but was unable to identify the original issue. During the inspection, he did find a separate problem with my drain line. He told me I would receive two repair estimates, but I never got them. I called the company to follow up, and they assured me the estimates would be sent within 24 hours. Unfortunately, that never happened. It has now been nine days, and I still haven't received anything. I had high hopes for this company because it came highly recommended by a close friend. Sadly, the lack of communication and follow-through has been very disappointing.
