  I was really torn between 2 and 3 stars. A year ago I got a quote to get my attic ducts replaced and what I thought was the insulation to be replaced as well. I told them I need about a year to save up so I can just pay it all at once, which they said was not a problem. I reached out almost a year later exactly and they said they needed to do another quote to see if the prices of things have changed. Which I understand and the new quote wasn’t that much more so that was understandable. The people who did the quote was Kayla and a man (forgot his name maybe Ian) they were super pleasant and I kept saying how there’s water damaged so I want to focus on the area that was happening to which I was explained in the first quote was caused by the insulation sitting on the air ducts along with a handful of other reasons. They assured me they would take care of the issue. They came out the following week, two men I haven’t talked to showed up to do the work and they got right to business. They thought it might take two days of work but they completed it in one day. They left without saying anything near the evening so I went to inspect the work. They accidentally put a hole in the area there was water damage and didn’t say anything to me. There was also insulation still hanging onto the ducts which was raised as a red flag to me from the company to begin with. I then text Ian who was texting me previously about the times and dates and how to pay the invoice and asked if they were completed with their work and he said they are 100% done. So I sent him pictures of the hole and the insulation along with a vent that popped off (it was in the bathroom and they didn’t check before they left I don’t mind this but since I was texting all the other stuff I just added it, things happen). So he said he talked with the crew and they will be out tomorrow and try to tighten up the insulation but it’s hard because it’s a small attic, which it 100% is a small space. Then said the hole came from them lifting the old duct off of it. No apologizes or anything along the lines. The next morning the crew was here early to fix what they could. They asked me after if everything looks good now to which I pointed out there is still insulation on the ducts and his response was “I just do what I am asked and that’s all I can do” (they left right after and nothing changed for the insulation) the conversation died as it was clear they were not going to do anything else. They did fix the vent but they did not address the hole. The beginning and evening when they were doing the work was just fine and they were meeting all expectations. Afterwards it was down hill. I replied to Ian stating how I just don’t want the same water damage to happen and that’s why I am concerned and received no text back. Paying almost 4k I would just expect a little more compassion when wrapping things up and just general courtesy when asking questions. As soon as I signed the agreement and paid the first 50% of the invoice I felt like they just wanted to get the job done and get to the next one. Strong start to a very disappointing finish. I attached the photos text to the company and I have fully paid the invoice. There’s a lot of room for improvement and hopefully they listen to my experience and improve from here. The work they did do appears like nice quality minus the insulation. I’d recommend a second opinion if looking here and make sure to get very specific details as the water got real murky once I started to pay and sign forms.
