I recommend this company to my friends and family. I had a new Heat and AC system installed over 10 years ago by AC Design, following a neighbor recommendation. I found the sales staff professional, and the installation well done, They set me up with the annual maintenance agreement which while I was hesitant to get it, I must say; I'm glad to have done it. It has worked out for me. While the system has worked great, this is Florida and no system can be ignored. The system heats and cools like it always has, with only a few minor repairs along the way. I have also had the install the UV lights that help kill contaminates I have noticed less sneezing in the house and the air smells fresher so I believe they were also a good decision. On the down side I have had some additional maintenance services and minor repairs, which seem to come at a premium price, and some are not as comprehensive as I would expect. When I check other service providers prices they are not much lower. Given the quick response when I call with issues (less than 2 hours for a clogged drain, and about an hour for a "strange noise" both fixed for a fee), I feel safe with recommending this company to friends and family. I have attached a picture of my system at over 10 years of age. Other than some fading paint (Remember Florida sun does that...always) the system looks almost new, and thanks to good maintenance works like it always has.
High price. Installer did not have or did not follow agreed upon install design discussed with the sales person. Too many items I had to follow up on and get resolved. Lines had to be moved and reinstalled. Electric line not installed correctly. Dust all over the garage. For the price this should have been done with no issues .
I had an excellent experience with AC Designs Heating and Air Conditioning! Gerald called ahead to let me know he was on his way and arrived right on time. He was extremely professional, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain every aspect of the service he was performing. I especially appreciated that Gerald showed me before-and-after photos so I could actually see the work that had been completed. His professionalism, attention to detail, and customer service were exceptional. Gerald is truly an amazing technician, and I will definitely be requesting him for my next service. Thank you, Gerald, for providing such a great experience!
VERY DISAPPOINTED!! My HVAC was damaged by lightning, and I feel I was significantly overcharged for the repairs. The price only dropped after I complained and agreed to an annual service contract. The biggest issue was that the technician refused to leave the damaged parts for my insurance inspection, claiming they had to be returned for a warranty claim. Now my insurance may deny my reimbursement because I can't prove the damage. Tech Jacob also felt like we were wasting his time by insisting that he leaves the parts. Said he had other customers to attend to and left. Poor customer service and a very frustrating experience. Aren't they getting double paid by claiming warranty from the manufacturer after I'vepaid them ober $3400?
Today my routine service was awful. Filter and guard both were left out the floor. Company no longer supplies filter for routine maintenance and none of this is explained when booking an appointment. Be aware the service technician/ alleged HVAC techs do not have to be certified or licensed to come into your home/business, bc they can work under the owners license. So you may get someone who has very little or no experience and who's not even qualified. Ac repairs are expensive and it's not worth the risk in my opinion. They used to have great service, don't know what has happened.
