Having Elaine care for my hair is such a pleasure. She’s patient with my hair texture and gentle. She is professional, informative, and wants you to have the salon experience you deserve. She uses high quality equipment and products and will customize the vibe to your liking. Even when I haven’t taken the best care of my hair, she brings it back to life (after cutting off the damage of course lol). I’m never afraid when Elaine pulls out her cutting shears because regardless of the length, the shape will be amazing! I’ve had curly cuts from others and Elaine has given me my favorite cut of all time. She is the queen of nice shapes and wash & go’s. You will leave feeling confident and in love with your natural hair. I’ve had a hard time trusting stylist with my hair due to previous horrible experiences and Elaine has restored my faith.

She was very gentle throughout the entire process and took the time to explain everything, and answered my questions, which I really appreciated. The space itself was cozy, clean, and very comfortable, creating such a relaxing atmosphere. You can tell she truly cares about her clients and the quality of her work. I highly recommend Yes Her Studio to anyone looking for a professional, welcoming, and calming experience. I will definitely be back and continuing my natural hair journey with Yes Her Studio!

I drove 3 1/2 - 4 hours to Yes Her Studio, and wasn’t disappointed. I’m so happy with the results and the start to my healthy hair journey! I never let anyone treat my hair before and so glad to have such a great first experience. I highly recommend. My hair still feels good and holding up well. Elaine also gave me everything I needed and a routine to make sure I maintain my hair well until my next appointment.

I had such a wonderful experience at Yes Her Studio and truly cannot recommend Elaine enough. From the moment I sat in her chair, I felt welcomed, safe, and completely at ease. Her energy is peaceful, warm, and professional, and I really appreciated the privacy and one-on-one attention throughout the entire appointment. What stood out to me most was her depth of knowledge. She holds a natural hair license, which is incredibly rare, and it absolutely shows in her work. Every piece of feedback she gave was rooted in science and explained clearly in layman’s terms so I could fully understand what was happening with my hair and why. She answered questions I didn’t even realize I had. I wear protective styles and hijabs daily, and she tailored my trim and routine specifically to support the longevity and health of my hair with that in mind. She helped me create a realistic plan for maintaining my hair between visits, especially when I am not able to come in as often as I would like. I left not only loving how my hair looks and FEELS, but also feeling more confident in how to care for it moving forward. Florida is truly blessed to have someone with her level of training and specialization. There is a real need for knowledgeable natural hair professionals, and she is the real deal.
