The atmosphere is comfortable and the waitress was kind but stressed from running too many tables. Compared to the non-corporate steakhouse across the street, the meat was dry and lacking the quality of their competitor. The beans and the street corn were fantastic but the main course was disappointing. If you are there to relax and talk to friends while consuming mass quantities, this is a good stop. If you want better food at the same price I would go across to their competitor if you can get a seat there.
I went there yesterday and ordered 2 takeout dinners. When I arrived home I found that the order was not what I ordered. One had brisket instead of sliced beef. The second dinner had fried corn instead of Cole slaw. The chicken was almost raw with blood at the bone. I didn’t feel up to taking it back so my husband finished cooking the raw chicken on our gas grill. His beef order was tough. 😝
Great spot for dinner. Close to our hotel. Food was good and service was on point. Nothing fancy but hit the spot. Also…the sweet potatoes with cinnamon butter was decadent.
Everything we ordered was great. It came out quickly and was hot. Multiple flavors of BBQ sauce on the table for your choosing. Sweat tea was excellent. The service was great including the person who set us at our booth. Shout out to "Lil Brittany" she was wonderful. We will definitely stop there again in the future.
I didnt go in to comment on the atmosphere. We ordered online so we could eat it during our hour drive back home. We didn't get any eating utensils or napkins. We had to stop at a store down the road to picked up what we needed so we could eat it. My brisket was a little too salty but it wasn't too bad, other than that the taste was good. It was a little juicy and super tender. The banana pudding was great, wish it had more wafers but you cant please everyone and it was still delicious either way.
