Amazing furniture selection and not low quality pieces like most places. The sales team are super nice and very attentive without being pushy. The owner is engaged with every one and very knowledgeable. Great place to shop.

This was my first visit to Woodchuck's and I am impressed. I was greeted immediately at the door by a greeter. Two sales reps met with us and were very knowledgeable. The owner was there as well and spoke with us indepth regarding the furniture at their site. We never knew that it was the owner until later, and we also thought every sales rep was working on commission due to how attentive and helpful they all were. They do not work on commission; this is a testament to how kind and attentive they are here. Suzanne ultimately closed a deal with us and I'm telling you that she knew her stuff. If she didn't, then she went to find out. She went back and forth, made so many suggestions, and wasn't pushy. We came in to look and she thought so too, so there was never any push for us to purchase. She was just very informative about the product and inquired about our space, colors, and taste to better make suggestions. And wow...we purchased that day. It ended up being our Valentine's Day activity (we had other plans but the vibe here was amazing). We are so very excited to see our new furniture and were able to customize some features to our liking, including ordering pillows to be made with the fabric we chose. This experience exceeded all expectations. (For instance: the 3 times, on three separate occasions, we went to Baer's Furniture, we were ignored by several sales reps that stood in the primary entry way. They acknowledged others--just not us--not once--even when we left. It was like we were invisible). Woodchuck's was a warm, welcoming experience from beginning to end!
Before you make a decision, weigh carefully a few policies that may lead to you regretting the purchase. First, they don't take AMEX, so if that is your plan, make a new one. They are also have a very rigid return policy. If you get the piece(s) home and they don't work, you are out of luck. I knew this in advance but have regret now. The expensive piece did not work out so I had to sell it online and buy something new at Haverty's. Haverty's gives you a 72-hour no question return policy and the only expense is your delivery fee. If making sure the purchase works out for your home I would suggest you shop elsewhere. I don't blame the store, they were upfront about their policy....but never again.
We have had several transactions with woodchuck furniture store. You found the staff, especially Susann To be warm and welcoming The prices are reasonable and oh my gosh was delivery easy. I highly recommend this furniture store if you’re looking for furniture in Jacksonville.
Woodchuck furniture has been very helpful trying to understand what we’re looking for and meeting those needs for our new home in Ponte Vedra. Their showroom has a nice assortment of furniture and most of their selections can be customized to the buyer’s liking. If you’re in the market to update your furniture, don’t forget to go to Woodchuck first.
