This review is long overdue. We relocated from New England to Jacksonville in mid-2025 and bought an older home in San Marco that needed significant work. We initially engaged Lisa and Thea for furniture and decoration suggestions, but the scope quickly grew to encompass designing most of the rooms in the house as we took on a major remodel that included adding new space above the garage. Along the way we uncovered many structural problems with the home, and the project became far more complex than any of us anticipated. Lisa and Thea have impeccable taste. Their customer service is unparalleled — they were available essentially any time we needed them, and their connections with local vendors are deep and clearly built on years of trust. Lisa has a strong, refined point of view but listens genuinely well, takes feedback, and makes adjustments. She guides without steamrolling, which is rarer than it should be in this field. We cannot say enough about Thea Tudor, who worked alongside Lisa to shepherd the project from start to finish. Her project management and communication are exceptional — frequent, detailed, organized updates, and a calm presence even when things got difficult. She kept everything moving and kept us informed at every step. We leaned on them heavily. They selected paint, flooring, cabinetry, wallpaper, lighting, furnishings, window coverings, accessories — pretty much everything that makes a house feel like a home. The results speak for themselves. The moment that truly showed who they are, though, came when our general contractor fell over mid-project. We were left with an incomplete remodel, our family living in a construction zone, and an uncertain path forward. Lisa and Thea stepped up immediately. They tapped their network and recommended a general contractor who came in to rescue the project and carry it across the finish line. That kind of advocacy goes well beyond the typical interior design engagement, and we are genuinely grateful for it. Without their help connecting us to the right people at the right moment, we would have been in a much worse position. We could not be more pleased. Without reservation, we would use LG Interior Design Collective again, and we recommend them to anyone in Jacksonville taking on a design or renovation project — especially one of any real complexity. The 5-star reviews are real, and they are there for a reason. Lisa, Thea, and their team are the best in JAX.
