I like getting my nails done here, they’re no expensive and if I don’t like something they correct it for me until I like it
I went in for a deluxe pedicure expecting a relaxing experience, but unfortunately it was the opposite. Two days later, my feet still hurt and feel extremely raw, which should never happen after a pedicure. The technician even began applying new polish without removing the old polish first, which was very surprising. I also noticed that disposable gloves were being reused, which is a serious infection control concern and very alarming. Throughout the service, several steps were missed, and I had to repeatedly remind the technician what still needed to be done. It made the experience feel very disorganized and unprofessional. Additionally, there was a strong, unpleasant smell coming from the back area where I was seated that seemed to return every 10 minutes. The overall cleanliness of the salon also appeared subpar, and the carpet looked like it needs to be removed or replaced. Overall, this was a very disappointing experience and not the relaxing service I expected.
The lady didn’t really shape my nails. when I asked her to fix it, she tried and ended up, taking off the polish on the side. There was no defined shape towards my cuticles so the polish just looks sloppy. Then when I asked the owner to fix it, he told me no. And said he didn’t see what the problem was.
Generally I get my nails done at dep nails at town center since Snow nails moved from Beach boulevard due to construction. I added a pic of what my nails looked like on 3/5TH without the shine coat. I know most of the text by name. I chose to get a fill in at Tina because my tongue was not open to get to town center at the time. First, I called to see if they take walk-ins and I was told yes. Today is 3/27/22. I treated myself and my sister-in-law. I like that they are available until early evening time AKA past 5:00 p.m. . The time that I went was on 3/23 after 5pm. It was clean inside , the place didn't have that CHEMICAL smell, and it wasn't crowded. I give them a 5 star for cleanline. I was served by a guy texh . I could tell that he wasn't sure if his work because he filled in One nail and ask for assurance from the check lady sitting next to him. It doesn't matter if they were speaking in a different language, I understood very well. Overall, I think he could have did a better job. I paid $25 for my feelings plus $25 for my sister-in-law overlay. I also ask for freestyle design on two fingers. I didn't expect much but this is what the results were. I am also not pleased with the smoothness of the acrylic and top coat or majority of my nails. I felt a couple of spots when it felt like a piece of grit was wondering. I need to find out from a regular client that Tina ) owner) does the best fingernail work. However, the overlay on my sister-in-law nails wasn't neat. I was finished in about roughly 30 minutes and my sister-in-law was about 40 minutes. I don't know much about the pricing but the window said $20 fill in and $25 for a set. Maybe I will try this business again. I'll review when that time comes.t nails already look like they're lifting .
My first time here. All of my nails are presently loose and popping off. I have never had this problem in the 2 years I have been getting them done. One of the nails that isn't popping off is crooked and on another the polish is chipping off. Again I have never had this problem. I am new to Jacksonville and figured I'd try the place but I don't think I will go back. Sorry I don't like giving bad reviews because I know business sometimes depends on what the reviews say but when I pay good money for a service I tend to expect it to at least last 2 weeks.
