We had an emergency where our prop shaft decoupled, boat was taking on water…these guys had us hauled out within 15 minutes of touching the dock, on a Friday afternoon! The mechanics Carl and Alex were awesome. Walter got the new shaft in without dropping the rudder which was incredible, saved us a lot. We ended up on the hard for 3 weeks, which was not ideal, but at least half of that was due to the shop fabricating the new shaft and an issue with the cutless bearing. Communication and coordination between us, the office, and the mechanics left a bit to be desired, but in the end they got us back in the water and the pricing was reasonable. They didn’t even charge the yard fee for the full time we were on the hard. Would not hesitate to recommend, just be proactive with communication.
I had a client use Tiger Point Marina as her wedding venue and it turned out absolutely beautifully. Cathy in the office was so helpful and happy to answer any questions that we had along the way. The sunset was stunning and our bride and groom left so happy. Thank TPM!
Tiger point Marina has outstanding service. We had boat troubled, and called them and they were happy to help. Turns out we hit something and were taking on water we lifted the boat and they worked with us and the insurance company and were just the best people to work with. You could tell they all had lots of experience and set our mind at ease.
We can't say enough good things about the boatyard, owners and staff. We brought our Morgan 461 for some extensive bottom work and new antifouling. The new manager there, Cathy Chapman, really stepped up to answer any questions/concerns about our bottom job. During the ten weeks of work we regularly received updates including photos from Cathy while the work progressed. We especially appreciate that the boatyard has managed to gather the best folks to do work on the various boats. One such was Brian Brockhaus, of Yachtbottoms, who did master work on our hull. Highly recommend!
Now adays, you rarely find people who are willing to give of their hearts. We had an experience of a lifetime and will NEVER forget the blessings stowed upon us. We are forever grateful 🙏 You can't go wrong at this business, fair, giving and honest! We highly recommend them for any of your needs!
