I was really disappointed with my experience. I asked for a pink and white ombré set, but the finished nails do not have a smooth, blended ombré effect. There is pink showing in the white areas, and my left thumb looks like two separate blocks of pink and white rather than an ombré. The appointment took over 2 hours, and there was acrylic left all over my skin and around my cuticles. The technician also filed the sidewalls of several nails down to my skin, causing me to bleed on about three fingers. Considering how long the appointment took, I expected much cleaner and more careful work. The uneven design, acrylic on my skin, and painful over-filing made this a very disappointing experience. I attached photos so others can see the results.
I recently visited Tiffany’s Nail Spa for an acrylic removal and manicure, hoping to find a new go-to salon in the area. Unfortunately, my experience left me disappointed. The technician who worked on my nails had difficulty communicating in English, which made it challenging to express my concerns. The acrylic removal process was uncomfortable as my fingers were soaked in acetone without any protective measures like Vaseline or spot treatment. She then used a power tool to file my nails down, leaving them uneven and weak. Since acrylic removal costs $15 alone but is $10 with another service, I decided to treat myself to a manicure for an additional $25. Sadly, the results were far from professional. The nail polish was applied unevenly, with visible fibers from the cotton balls stuck in it. When I pointed this out, she did not remove them. She also cut into my fingers multiple times while trimming my cuticles. The white nail polish was visibly dried out, and despite shaking it and expressing her dislike for the color, she continued using it. The application ended up thick and streaky, and I was rushed to the drying station before it had a chance to set properly. There was also no after care, no cuticle oil or hand cream applied and my skin is super dry and rough now after the acetone soak. To add to the frustration, I was charged $15 for acrylic removal instead of $10, despite getting a manicure. When I paid, the technician canceled the transaction and insisted I enter a tip. While I still tipped $5, it was disheartening to feel pressured into it, especially after an unsatisfactory service. I had initially planned to return for a spa pedicure, but after this experience, I’m hesitant. I hope the salon can improve its services by training staff on better customer communication, ensuring proper nail care techniques, and maintaining fresh nail polish for an even application. Transparency in pricing and a more professional approach to tipping would also help create a better customer experience. I truly wanted to like this place, but I can’t recommend it based on this visit. I hope my feedback helps them improve, as I see potential for a much better experience with some adjustments. PS: Update (last picture): After just 24 hours the nail polish is completely chipping off on almost all fingers. I only work on a computer, no yard or physical labor that could cause this. This adds to my frustration. Never had that happen anywhere else before.
Yesterday was such a busy day at Tiffany’s and my wait time was longer than normal but Ms.Ruby made it worth the wait ..I told her that I was in a wedding next weekend and I needed something cute simple and classy and she did just that ..From my pedicure to my nails all the way to my eyebrows…So it was very worth the wait ..Thank you so much Ms.Ruby for making sure my day spent a Tiffany’s was a good one ..I also brought my grand daughter with me and she painted her toes and put little flowers on them (so cute)…. She offered us drinks as well while we waited for her great services
My husband booked an appointment for me and my 4 daughters to get our nails done. They quoted $150 for all. We went in and were immediately sat and were told to pick our colors. We each picked colors and designs and they did a fabulous job on all of our nails. When it came time to pay, the total was $250 and I was shocked. I asked why it was so much and they said because it was gel. I had no idea the difference between gel and normal nail polish, nor was normal nail polish even offered as an option. I said my husband was quoted $150, and they just looked at me. I felt so taken advantage of. Nothing was made clear as far as pricing and it ruined the fun experience I was having with my daughters. If you go here, please be clear about what you want and don't want, because they'll just assume you want the most expensive thing.
This place is great for pedicures but go somewhere else for your nails. Process online are not correct and after you tell them what you want and they quote you a price they change it. They do not tell you that if you get the new dip it is weak and will break in a week if you do anything with your hands. Then when you complain they say that is normal and if you want it to last you need to go with acrylic. I have had probably 50-60 French manicures on acrylic nails and never have I been able to see the tip they put on. By the time she was done there was no one left in the store to complain to so I am stuck with these tacky looking nails for two weeks until my budget and nails can handle me going somewhere else. So disappointed. My first few trips here were amazing. If you come see Alex for pedicure. But this trip was terrible and I won't be back for my nails again. I will go somewhere else. Just look at the gap in the one nail and the white steak in the other and one of my nails curls under even though I told them I type all day. I paid extra for the pink and white paint to and it would have looked better if I went with a solid color. So upset. And don't even get me started on how I was there over 2 hours because I kept getting passed from one technician to another like I was an unwanted customer. And they are too long still.
