Everyone there is talented/experienced but I have been going here for years and could not be happier. They’re not ever too busy or crowded although appointments always ofc guarantee a spot. Jenny is INCREDIBLE. She has perfected my very particular nail shape and I’m always so happy she’s also the sweetest, caring woman and works carefully but efficiently. Like I said the whole staff is great. Such a calming, clean environment I can’t recommend it enough!
More like Thumbs Down 👎👎 I don't write reviews very often but I'm honestly disappointed in the service I received. Not only did I get a messy French manicure, but when I went back to have it fixed, I was told she sees nothing wrong and I was just being picky. I paid extra for dip powder and colored French tips and, of course, I would expect quality work. I also mentioned to her that I struggle with anxiety and asked her to be more patient with me, explaining it took a lot for me to walk there today and ask for them to be redone. Instead, she got upset and said, "Maybe I should just give you a refund and never do your nails in the future." I told her that I'm going on vacation so I needed them redone. Rather than redo them, she only attempted to repaint the tips but they were still uneven. Frustrated, I finally just asked her to redo them all a solid color, but she just painted over the dip powder with gel. Not only did I not get what I initially paid for, but I was met with rudeness, plus "the fix" is still poor quality. They look sloppy and I know the polish will probably lift while I'm on vacation. Yeah, disappointed is an understatement... expecting attention to detail is not "picky" for the service I initially paid for; in addition to the inconvenience of returning for them to be fixed and still not look good. I also needed polish fixed from a pedicure (only one toe, but still more time I had to spend there). Anyway, the manicure pics posted are from both visits; they speak for themselves; I hate wasting money. At this point, they should definitely give me a full refund. **Update** After thinking it over, I decided to go back and ask for a refund. Instead of talking with me about it privately, they shouted back and forth in front of other customers; again calling me "picky" but I reiterated "no, it's called expecting attention to detail for the service I'm paid for." At first, they refused a refund but eventually agreed to process a refund for my nails and the tip I gave. Beware of businesses who blame their customers for wanting quality work, instead of taking responsibility when service is poor. Review stands. ***Update 2*** As suspected, the polish started to lift and peel off only 4 days after "the fix." I added a photo of my thumbnail that I had to buff out until I could get somewhere on my vacation to have it fixed.
I appreciated walking in and someone was at the reception area waiting to greet and assist me. The inside was lovely and simple which I love. No appointment was required and I was serviced immediately (no wait). They used this cool machine to buff my feet which felt greet, I thought that was very unique and innovative as well as time saving for me and the technician. My technician was very invested into removing the dead skin around my cuticles and that is literally my favorite nail tech!!! I love seeing and peeling that away, it just makes the nail/feet look fresh and appealing! I wonder if they plan to update the outside area to make it more appealing. It may be different shifts but there were not a lot of technicians working on this Friday. I am curious about them offering drinks, since I had water with me they did not ask but I also did not see other patrons with a drink from the establishment. I worry that outsiders walking pass may not be drawn to come in as the outside has an outdated look. I think adding the extra service of offering a beverage or a warm aromatic shoulder pad would elevate the already wonderful service. Overall my nails look good for me getting regular polish and the state of my nail beds. I opted for regular polish since I just took off acrylic I knew gel/dip would just separate and crack. So the regular polish isn't as flat and clean but again she did a great job with how my nails are. Will be back for that gel service end of April before my trip! Thank you for your wonderful service
Called and got an appointment in one hour. Very patient and stayed after closing to finish my nails. Polite. Love my nails, got exactly what I asked for. Plus we talked about cats and thats always a win for me. This is my second time here and I’ll probably become a regular once I have a steady income.
I never post reviews but I had to for this place. I used to get my nails dipped when I lived in Louisiana 6 years ago. Just regular manicures since I've been living in Jax. Decided to start having them dipped again. I decided to not focus on the bad reviews and try this place myself. What do I have to lose....if I'm not happy I won't go back. I definitely will be going back. Tu did my nails and did a phenomenal job. I did not feel rushed at all and she really took the time to make them beautiful. Some nail places make you feel rushed but not here. Wanted them done for Easter with a special cross design representing Jesus. I showed her a photo of a cross with with the purple robe representing how pure Jesus is. Look at these photos. Im beyond happy and will be back in about a month to have them done for my big birthday :)
