Choose the resturant based on it being close to our condo and the oysters we saw/ read about on Facebook. Well, bad idea. We eat and enjoy seafood often. ***We did let our waitress know our concerns. She just basically said sorry, that's how it is. So, those osters- I have included a picture from yesterday that the restaurant shared on Facebook of the local "sharkbite" oysters. Then a picture of what we were served. Theirs, big, pump - ours were just scrawny. Thought we had to have gotten the wrong oysters. Server said nope(even when I showed her picture of what we were expecting). It's an obvious I difference. Fish basket was not anything special. It was fresh catch - mahi - small portion (one piece (server said 6oz) , okay at best. Low Boil- I had it steamed. Shrimp were excellent. Sausage really good. Clams were way over cooked. Clam chowder was pretty good. Like I stated earlier, we talked to our server about the issues we had and she did nothing to try to make things right. First picture is the resturants from Facebook. The 2nd and 3rd pictures are what we were served ( more the size of the oysters compared to the small portion cups and the "small oyster fork ". 4th picture is fish basket and 5th picture is the dry clams. With so many great seafood resturants close by, this one will not make "the list" again.

After my favorite local dive was closed permanently because of a hurricane, I went a little further up the road and found this place. I am tempted to give it one star, only because when you call someplace paradise…. My only ding is that they do not take phone orders. Though they are as quick as possible, catch them in a rush and you could really be waiting. I’ve ordered “to go” a few times and had about a 25 minute wait, and those have been times they are not super busy. Anyway, the food is fantastic. Had the commanders boil this time, but have tried several of their offerings and never disappointed. The staff is friendly and polite and not afraid to give you suggestions on which dishes might be best for your taste. They keep check on you while you are eating to make sure you have all you need while not being obtrusive. Food prices are a bit higher than other places I’ve been, but they sure make you feel good spending it. Would highly recommend checking them out.
We shared the combo platter with shrimp, oysters and fresh flounder, hushpuppies and red skins. Flounder and shrimp were amazing. Hubby ate the oysters. We sat at the bar but the outside seating looked really fun. Oh and we took some fish dip home. Wanted to try so many other things.
The shrimp and grits were soooo smooth and creamy! My hamburger husband had a shrimp po boy and it was amazing! We’d come back from Michigan again for that meal! Thank you to our bartender Belle for the fabulous service!
Pretty average. Don’t expect much. The food is slightly seasoned. The price to portion ratio is off. 5 shrimps shouldn’t be $17 and plain. Luckily it wasn’t too hot outside so outdoor seating was tolerable. If you sit inside you’ll leave smelling like grease and seafood. Server was awesome though, really attentive. Lastly the tap water is not drinkable but that’s this whole area, you’ll be better off drinking soda.
