I wish I could put zero stars but it still wouldn't be enough to express my level of anger and disappointment. This shop is one I will NEVER recommend to anyone. It makes absolutely no sense the lack of professionalism in this place. Multiple times I have had an appointment for my daughter to get her hair done and it has been with different stylists and they were both late and careless. Today we had an appointment for 11:30am with Anna. She texted me at 9am asking to come at noon which I said that was fine. We get there at noon and she had someone in the chair getting what looked to be a retie and she was in the back of her head. She said nothing when we came in and also nothing when we left. Then texted me at 12:45pm talking about "you can come"...45 minutes after our scheduled appointment is ridiculous! It is so angering to see how excited your child is to get her hair done and for it not to be completed because there is such a "don't give a damn" attitude floating through this place like it is a standard. They should be ashamed of how they do business. We have always paid for our services and been on time. We will never be back here and I hope no one else waste their time and effort with this place either.
Five stars for Heavyne, she’s my loctician. Her work is very professional, clean, and very neat. Highly recommend! Shop is also very nice, and clean.
Anna is rude! She was my daughter's braider the first time she did her hair, and she wanted a ride to the hair shop to get the products to do her hair, so unprofessional. Then she changed the price of the services at the end of service because it took extra time doing her hair. Since she was going to start school, I paid it. The second time she complained that her hair was too thick, and she would go up on the price because her hands were tired. We booked a 0800 appt vacancy and she wanted us to wait until late in the afternoon in case she gets someone else but didn't have anyone booked. Then I told her I would go to another braider she changed her mind. Had the nerve to be late for the appt. Prior to the appt she told us she could do braid with human hair the day of the appt she stated she could not. So, after paying $300 for human hair, she expected me to go buy more hair so that she could braid it. We ended up finding another braider.
I am not the person who likes to leave negative reviews especially on a business but the disrespect has to be mentioned. Today has been the 5th and I do mean the 5th time my sons loc Technican Kennedy has continued to be LATE AGAIN for his online booked appointment. She has consistently been late with no regards for the time and gas wasted to come to a business that has an employee that don’t value customers. We’ve left generous tips and have never been late but that same energy has never been reciprocated by Kennedy. If you value your time I would think twice before booking with her. She nor The Braid Shop will get my business or recommendation ever again. Please do better and understand it’s the customer who puts money in your pocket. So unprofessional on every level.
I’m very unhappy with the service, Janya braided my hair and my hair looks terrible. I reached out to owner (Tiny) to express my disappointment and was told she would get back with me. No one has reached out to me about this. The only reason I trusted Janya to braid my hair was because she worked under Tiny. The owner never called to resolve the issue. I’m very displeased with the service that was provided,
