Sur La Table

Our chef John was incredible, personable, and shared amazing cooking tips. My ONLY complaint is sharing the food preparation with other guests. Yes, everyone is directed to wash their hands at the beginning of class but you can’t police what people touch afterwords. I watched the other three groups put their hands in the pockets on multiple occasions, fix their hair, hug their partner, and even using their phone while preparing food, which ultimately was shared among the whole group which is pretty gross 🤢. This is the first cooking class that I’ve been to where the food isn’t solely being prepared and cooked with just their own individual party. I opted not to take any food home which was disappointing because the salad was my favorite. I truly hope this concern is adjusted in the future.

For someone who is inexperienced in cooking, I had the BEST TIME! Chef Olivier was AMAZING! Highly recommend him as your Sur La Table teacher/chef!

Sur La Table: We have done both the “Taste of Tuscany” w/Oliver and the “Coffee Like A Pro” w/Avery. Both these classes were outstanding. We will definitely be returning. Both Oliver and Avery have a wealth of knowledge that they do not mind sharing.
