From the moment you walk through the doors at Chloe and Sunshine Animal Clinic, you can feel the difference. This is not just a veterinary office—it’s a place filled with compassion, urgency, and people who truly love animals. During our very first visit, they went above and beyond in a way I will never forget. When my 4-year-old English Bulldog, Gemma, was in crisis, Chloe—the vet tech—didn’t hesitate for a second. She immediately picked Gemma up, hopped into the car with me, and rode alongside us to Blue Pearl Emergency Vet nearby. Her quick thinking, calm presence, and willingness to act without hesitation quite literally saved my dog’s life. Chloe stayed with me until the doctor came in to give us an update, offering reassurance and comfort during one of the most terrifying moments I’ve ever experienced as a pet parent. Later, she even called to check on us—something that meant more than words can express. The entire team showed an incredible level of care, compassion, and professionalism. They treated Gemma like their own and treated me with kindness when I was overwhelmed and scared. This may have been our first visit to Sunshine, but it absolutely will not be our last. I am endlessly grateful for this clinic and the remarkable people who work there. If you’re looking for a veterinary team that truly shows up when it matters most, this is the place. 🐾💛
Dr. Patel is great and super sweet to my reactive Shepard/ hound mix. Love this vet office and the ppl that work here!
Great prices, friendly staff, but apparently they avoid helping anyone over the phone, and don't see it necessary to either check in with someone while they're on hold, and not call back. I understand if I call once, maybe twice and I get left on hold, or if I have to wait. But 3 weeks in a row? I even called as soon as they open, left on hold. Regardless of what time I call, I just get left on hold I've been needing an answer about why my dog's appetite decreased, and still waiting for a callback. At least I got my dog's homework blood work done, and his heart medication prescription.
I’ve been bringing my cat here for years and have always had a great experience. Dr. Patel and his staff are wonderful. Dr. Patel is kind, compassionate, and very understanding. He takes his time with his patients and never tries to push services that aren’t truly necessary. I appreciate how honest he is about what my pet actually needs. His prices are also very reasonable. I highly recommend his clinic to anyone looking for a veterinarian. Thank you, Dr. Patel! 😊
We moved all of our pets to a new vet. The lobby and exam rooms have gotten worse. They aren't clean and smell terrible. The smell is awful. My husband can't even go inside without feeling nauseous from the odor. Rude front desk staff, especially over the phone. Called to see if I could pick up a refill for one of our dogs, was told yes it will be ready for pick up anytime. Got there and they were out. Asked for a perscription to order theough Chewy, was told I needed to pay a perscription fee. Went back a week later when they got more in, front desk said I could come in anytime to pick it up. Arrived for the second time, was told my dog needs to be seen. He was just there a few months prior. Wasn't new meds or anything, just his preventative. When I told the girl at the front desk I was going to switch vets for all of our pets, she said "ok, that's fine". I asked her to have Dr. Patel call me, she said he's out of town and doesn't have time for phone calls.
