We sat at the bar right away. Ordered a mimosa & Bloody Mary. Both were very good! Bartender was very nice & attentive. The AC works well & was a nice quick way to cool off from St. George’s St! We didn’t order any food by will definitely come back.

We had lunch on a weekday at the St. Augustine Seafood Company. It seems that they have two sides to this restaurant. One side is basically a fast food setup. The other side is a sit down / table service of the same fast food. We tried the sit down side / table service side for a more traditional lunch. We sat outdoors on what I would describe as a rustic terrace dining area. Our server was okay. We saw her a few times. She came across as neither memorable nor totally unknown. She did her job, but honestly, I can’t remember much about her. But that’s Okay. She did her job well enough that I don’t remember much. The food on the other hand was not much to speak of. I read some other reviews on how great the food was. I must have went to another eatery.. We both found the food to be only okay at best. The food seemed like what it was. A sit down version of the same take out fast food they served in the other side. The food was not terrible that we wouldn’t eat it. But it was never going to get a one of the better food monikers either. Honestly, I have personally had better fast food seafood. But to also be fair. I have had much worse seafood in a seafood restaurant before as well. My issue was that although it was eatable and not terrible. It wasn’t anywhere near what it should have been. That’s especially true for the price we paid. It was way over priced for the quality and taste of our lunch. Again, we ate most of it since we were hungry and had to pay for it. But it also didn’t sit all that well after either. I think the sit-down and takeout sides sold the food at the same price. (I could be wrong) The only difference was a better atmosphere. And of course the gratuity I normally leave for such service. I’m not saying that the St. Augustine Seafood Company is bad. Only that it really isn’t all that great. And I felt that it was very much over priced for what we were served. But hey, it is a place to sit and have a meal.
Stopped In while visiting the historic district on a Monday afternoon in April. We were looking for outdoor seating & pet friendly. Had the avocado rice bowl with blackened shrimp. Shrimp were tasty, but salty. Salad was just okay. Prefer the rice be served hot. Wife enjoyed the clam chowder. Fast, friendly counter service. Plenty of seating inside and out.
Excellent food! We ordered shrimp and they were amazing—huge, flavorful, and beautifully presented. A real treat. The burgers were also very good. The only downside was that we came back at night hoping to hear live music, but no one was playing. Still, we really loved the patio area with the oak tree and lanterns—it gave such a cozy, charming vibe. Overall, a great spot and definitely worth visiting. St. Augustine Seafood Company
Raw oysters with the house made garlic sauce was delicious. The conch fritters were amazing. Our bartender, Autumn, was super friendly and told us about Colonial Oak Music Park for tonight.
