St Augustine Bath & Candle

This is a cute store. Scents smell amazing and I love the variety of soaps, candles, etc. Annette was amazing and very helpful. If we visit Saint Augustine again, I will definitely come back.

My wife and I followed a sign that said something about "Free Smells" and we definitely got what we came for, but it was the selection and the service that had us hooked. This shop is cute, quaint, and fantastically fragrant in a great location smack dab in the heart of the Old Town. For the life of me, I don't remember her name, but the lovely lady who ran the shop was a gem, helping us decide what kind of gift would suit my mother-in-law, chatting with my toddler son and giving him some little bubble wands to take along, and giving us all kinds of interesting factoids about the products we were curious about. I never felt like we were being pestered by some aggravating vendor at a mall who takes every chance they get to peddle some nonsense on you. It felt sort of like visiting a close friend who finally opened up that shop you and your other friends have been telling them about but they kept putting it off for so long and you KNEW they could do it but they really settled for the "love of the game" for so long that they just didn't believe in themselves, and now that they found the courage to do it you just can't believe the world FINALLY gets to see this incredible craft that they've perfected all these years... there's gotta be a word for that. For me, it was the St Augustine Signature Scent. I genuinely cannot describe how accurate the name is; it's like it awakened some deep nostalgia in me the way svent and memories do best. I'm not even kidding you, I smelled this soap and instantly was thrown back to my childhood trips to this city. I bought one bar, but I regretted it. I should have bought the whole shelf. So I tried to get more online because YES they have an online store (thank God), and there was only ONE left. Snagged it, and I've since added this soap to the household budget, no joke. The photo is my latest purchase, still didnt feel like enough. My wife loves the scent, loves me more for smelling like it. I will keep buying from this store because its that good. We are planning a trip very soon so my wife can find a new favorite for herself, and we'll very soon add more to our regular list.

Amazing shop with wonderful smelling soaps, candles, body scrubs & bath bombs. I forgot the sweet ladies name, maybe it was Julie. She was so happy to explain every detail & answer every question, she was awesome!
