Very unique store that fits Saint Augustine. Not the usual t-shirt, ice cream, soap, clothes, candy shop or usual tourist shop. Lots of cool items from yesterday. This unique store has items that you would find in the colonial period or right after The War of Northern Aggression. Interesting items throughout the entire store. It’s definitely worth the walk down between the buildings to check out this interesting store. The gentleman behind the counter was friendly and greeted me with a ‘top of the morning’! Can’t remember when the last time I got that greeting! Definitely a must stop while you stroll down St. George Street. Florida Man Approved!
Very cool shop with a mix of toys, hand made pottery, jewelry and many other neat things, much of which is made on site! All with a historical theme, carrying on the legacy of St Augustine Textiles ( know for historical reenactment gear). The owner is a jovial pirate who will brighten your day. Looking forward to seeing this business thrive.
Awesome historic toys and games. Owner is knowledgeable and friendly. Products are displayed to try them out. Great gift ideas! Definitely worth the visit!
Such a great little shop! Loved the handmade items available as well as lots of other little trinkets. We bought something there that ended up having a defect and went back the next day and they were so nice and replaced it with another one and even offered to try to fix it. Definitely stop by here!
This little shop was the highlight of our time in downtown St. Augustine! The owner was so knowledgeable, kind, energetic, and ready to share information about everything we were interested in. He clearly had a passion for his work, both as the store owner and as the potter. The shop was designed with kids in mind, boasting a table ready with samples of toys and games for them to explore. All of the prices were more than reasonable and there was a surprising variety of historical-based items to purchase, despite the size of the storefront. This store is truly a hidden gem that stands out in the sea of tshirt shops on St. George street.
