Southern Lights Candle Shop

Had a really poor experience when I walked into the shop today, some guy with long hair doesn’t even say hello or welcome in but instead goes “Hey Guys we really can’t have that many strollers in here taking up that much space!!” Was I supposed to just leave my 6 month old outside? Horrible experience and I won’t be back. Learn to treat people better. This place is a joke with that guy working there.

Beautiful little shop! Making handmade candles as you look around. I've gone there for years to buy the local handmade soaps, too! It's a MUST stop whenever I go to St Augustine. Keep up the excellent work!!

I go to Southern Lights Candle Shop every time I visit St. Augustine which is about once every 2-3 months. I make a purchase every time I go in there. The staff are friendly & knowledgeable & are a pleasure to do business with. I highly recommend this quaint little shop.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE ACCUSED OF STEALING. We went in on our vacation, walked around, and picked up a tray that we wanted. After finishing browsing, we went to check out and (i’m assuming) the owner told us to “take the tray out of our bag that we stole and leave”. We were in the store for about five minutes and had NOT stolen anything. We even opened up our purse to prove nothing was taken, and the store owner was extremely nasty and rude. We told him to keep his tray because we didn’t want his business, he realized he was wrong and continued to be rude by telling us to just leave. It was extremely embarrassing since there were people in line behind us and he didn’t apologize at all.
