The whole atmosphere is welcoming, comfortable & loving from the time you walk in the door until you leave. The entire staff is friendly, caring & helpful. Dr. Thivierge is superior. He is extremely caring, very upbeat, carefully listened to all of my concerns & answered every question I had. I never felt rushed. I arrived early & was promptly taken care of. My puppy & I are extremely happy with the entire staff. Highly recommend 💌🦋

I am writing a pre-customer review. The customer service at SJB Animal Care Center is deserving of a less-than one star rating. I made a phone call about a surgical procedure that could not be perform at the Vet where I had just spent $700+ with NO change in the condition of my Dachshund. (Exciting a Mamary gland) When making first contact with SBJ, I was promised a return call from the surgical Vet at the end of the day. I however, received a call from a Vet tech that explain to me that the Vet had a long day and had left without making the call..she apologized and said that the Vet would call me in the morning. This morning I received another call from the Vet tech telling me that the Vet had instructed her to schedule me a tela-help call with an online company to have them outline the procedure for $75. I asked to speak to the office manager and was told she was too busy to handle calls and would return my call when free. It has now been a while and still waiting with No call. Be careful using a Veterinary Hospital that can't even take time for a call....OR worse wants to charge you for that comfort call....remember we all have our furry kids that need us to defend them. UPDATE: the office manager, Liz, called after the review was posted about and said they didn't even do Mamary Gland Removal as a surgery center. In speaking throughout the conversation she defended the idea of charging me $75. for the tela-conference regarding "My Cat.. Daphne"....However, as stated to all her Vet Techs and the receptionist....Daphne is a Dachshund. Clearly the office manager wasn't doing anything but making a call to get my Review removed...and cared nothing about my pet.

Amazing experience from beginning to end. We came in for grooming with trepidation because our dog isn't the best customer. We were told she needed sedation to be groomed by 2 different grooming places. Diana was amazing, she listened, gave me options, told me about possibly doing small steps each appointment to get my dog comfortable and said, " Hey, no judgment here. Every dog and situation is different, some need extra help or time and that's what I am here for." No sedation needed, the haircut was exactly what I wanted and my girl was excited, tail wagging and even giving kisses to her. Highly recommend her!

I truly don’t have enough good things to say about this place. I recently had to make the heartbreaking decision to put my dog, Callie, down, and everyone here was absolutely incredible. They were so patient, compassionate, and kind throughout the entire process. They referred to Callie as my baby, and even continued to do so afterward, which meant more to me than they probably realize. ❤️ If you’re looking for a place that genuinely cares and treats your pets like family, this is the place. I’m forever grateful for the kindness they showed both Callie and me during such a heartbreaking time.
