Schooner's Seafood House

I had the broiled trio and it was wonderful! The fish was so delicate and flavorful. The portions on the shrimp and scallops were generous. The hush puppies and coleslaw were fresh. Will be returning here again! Overall awesome experience

First I would say, that Schooner's is like what St. Augustine used to be; a local restaurant, with that "local" Floridian touch. Definitely a "locals" establishment, compared to the St. A tourist downtown area. Most of the diners were up in their years, probably 60+, and very friendly. Plenty of parking. Clean exterior and interior. No wait to be seated. The staff was young and very attentive. I had the Mahi-Mahi, squash medley, cream corn, coleslaw and big hushpuppies. All were cooked to likeable standards and plenty to eat. If you are looking for a local, laid back and relaxing place, with good food, this maybe for you.

I love the food! Excellent fried shrimp, Cole slaw, greens. Doesn't get any better than the spinach casserole, not on the menu very often; it is a good day when it is. I highly recommend. We drive in from J'ville to eat at Schooner's

We love Schooner's!! Anytime we're in the area, we try and swing by. The food is always fresh and comes out quickly. The servers are nice and the restaurant is always clean and inviting.
