To say that I’m upset is an understatement. I cried for two hours. They completely ruined my dog’s fur, even after I explained in detail how we wanted the grooming to be done and what should absolutely not be done. Everything was ignored. The groomer didn’t even want to take us in because of the undercoat being tangled, so we agreed that she would only do a brushing and wash the dog—nothing more. But when I came to pick up my Pomeranian, I found out that she had just shaved him completely 😭. Please, do not bring your dogs here if you have a German Spitz. Their fur does not grow back the same way. If in three months my dog’s coat doesn’t return to how it was before, I will most likely have to take legal action. My beloved pet was not just another dog for fun—we, as a family, loved his gorgeous coat. And now, he is just a completely shaved, bald dog. 😭
If I could give 0 stars I would honestly. I brought my dog here this morning for his first ever bath/nail trim that was not done by me. I work in Veterinary medicine so I am VERY particular with who handles my dog because I see so many injuries from grooming/boarding facilities. Of course, the first time I bring him some place, my worries come true. I had to lift him to put him in the car which was odd but I shrugged it off because he could have been anxious. I lifted him down when we got home because he refused to jump down which is out of the ordinary. What really stood out to me was him not greeting me and not being able to get up when I got home from errands. He was perfectly fine and healthy when I dropped him off and now he is not bearing any weight on his hind leg. I called and asked repeatedly if something happened whether it was slipping or possibly holding the foot a little hard while cutting nails because he has a tendency to tug his feet away. I didn’t even ask for a refund I wanted the TRUTH so that I could proceed with next steps in treating his injury. I kept getting told repeatedly that nothing happened and that he was well behaved and that he “didn’t even pull” when he was brought out to me. He is a 60lb Doberman who PULLS. He literally has a PULLING problem. To say I am disappointed and livid is an understatement.
They were very informative and helpful. Definitely trust them with our brand new golden doodle! We were nervous on where we would send them, but we know we made the right decision with Scenthound at Saint Johns! We even signed up for the membership. 10/10 ⭐️
Punctual, quick service. My dog received excellent care. His nails are trimmed nicely, his fur is really soft and shiny, and he smells great!
Max’s monthly visit!!! We did de shedding treatment this time! Absolutely great! His hair is so fluffy! Thank you Scenthound for leaving him beautiful and perfect! We love this place!!!!! Side note: in his last visit nails were left too long (he is so picky with his paws, so it must be challenging to cut them), and I brought this up so they could try to get them shorter this time. Not only did they achieve the shortness, they went above and beyond to satisfying satisfy us and did a complementary nail grind! I absolutely love this place and their awesome staff!!!
