We were there earlier in the month as I noticed my cat was breathing strange. They determined that there was no cure for her condition so we had to put her down. They were very compassionate. They had a special room that we went to that was away from the other exaime rooms. I sat on the couch and the Doctor put a blanket on my lap and put my precious cat on the blanket. I held her, rubbed her ears and lightly scratched her cheeks as that is her favorite thing. She was comfortable and purring to the end while my heart was breaking and tears were streaming down my face. She didn't suffer and she knew she was loved since she was a kitten. They are a compassionate Vet that cares for both animals and their owners. They have an area in the lobby that is decorated for each holiday that they will take photos, using your own phone, that are really special. We have used all aspects of their services and are happy with them. The owners are great people
This is the best vet you could go to, they saved my dogs life. My dachshund was suddenly very sick with pancreatitis and had to be hospitalized for a long time. They did everything they could possibly do to help him and didn’t give up on him. With their wonderful care, he made a full recovery and is back home with us. They are so attentive and loving towards him that he didn’t mind coming back for a follow up and was happy to see them. They kept me frequently informed about everything throughout the process and understood how hard and emotional this was for us. I cannot recommend them enough! We drive 30 mins to make sure he sees them and will continue to do so. Thank you all for what you do 💕 you are all the best people!
Dr. Deckard and Pets R Family have treated our small dog since she was 11 weeks old. Rella is now 8 years old and has many complicated health issues. From Addison’s Disease to Diabetes to blindness, frequent UTIs and Pancreatitis, they have journeyed this road with us never showing anything less than excellent quality care, compassion and concern. Although we moved more than an hour away, we will never consider changing Rella to someone closer. The trust we have in this practice far outweighs the inconvenience of the drive. We highly recommend Pets R Family to anyone looking for the best in veterinary care.
My husband and I take our sweet fur baby to Pets R Family and we’re completely happy with them. Dr. Hutton is so thorough and kind with her medical issues. It’s so wonderful to have Dr. Hutton and staff that are so friendly and helpful with our dog. We also board her when we have to go out of town and they all keep us updated on her stay and send a picture. It’s so comforting to leave our baby with them. They take such good care of her.
I had a wonderful experience here! Maggie and Ramsey at the front desk gave me such a nice, welcoming greeting the moment I walked into the lobby. That fantastic first impression continued throughout my entire visit. Dr. Deckard and Suzanna, the practice director, were equally welcoming and kind. The entire team makes you feel comfortable and truly valued. Highly recommend!
