We had a fantastic experience at The Salty Pelican! From the moment we arrived, the host impressed us. He took our phone number and immediately sent a test text to verify he had the correct number before adding us to the waitlist. That was such a smart touch and gave us confidence we wouldn't miss our table. We were quoted about a 30-minute wait, but our table was ready in just 11 minutes! The food was delicious, the service was spectacular, and everything came out fast even though the restaurant was busy. The best part was watching the FIFA World Cup Final. No matter where you sat, you could easily see and hear the game, and the entire restaurant was caught up in the excitement. It made for an unforgettable dining experience. It was a great atmosphere for our family, and we never felt rushed. Between the great food, outstanding service, and the incredible game-day atmosphere, this was one of our favorite meals on Amelia Island. We would definitely come back the next time we're in town!

We had a wonderful family dinner while in Surfside. Kendyl provided us with outstanding service making sure we had everything we needed. The portions were generous and delicious tasting. We had the crab cakes, the Surf and Turf, the Fried Shrimp, Fried Oysters and the kids enjoyed the Burger and Chicken Strips. They were out of French fries and tator tots because of a planned power outage the next day for minor repairs so they allowed us to choose different sides for our meal. Overall it was all fantastic and would highly recommended it if you’re staying in Surfside.
Had an amazing time with some family here! The views are great and the vibes are awesome! Our waitress was super polite and attentive. We ordered the smoked fish dip and Gator bites as an appetizer with a long island and a tropical sunrise as drinks. The main courses included a side caesar salad with blackened shrimp, shrimp and oysters and shrimp and fried fish. We barely had room for dessert and ordered the gluten free reeses pie!! Amazing.
Great visit. Lots of seating both inside and outside on the covered patio as well as upstairs. We picked the patio so we had the views of the water. Very friendly service. The food was great. I had the mac and cheese with shrimp (pictured). Huge portion. I've never finished it. The fried chicken sandwich was a hit. The fish tacos got 2 thumbs up. We took a key lime pie to go and it was my favorite all vacation. The parking kind of sucked, but it is not the restaurants fault. We heard from the locals that some of the commissioners were corrupt and implemented paid parking to benefit their own restaurant...I guess small town politics. I mention that as an FYI so you are prepared to pay on the app.
Always an amazing meal at the Salty Pelican Bar. Must try the tuna nachos, best tuna nachos bar none! Freshest fish and tastiest dishes, large portion sizes and super fresh. Food reasonably priced also. Definitely a must dine place when visiting Amelia Island.
