Everything was amazing! I really enjoyed their gnocchi bolognese. It reminded me of my grandma’s cooking. Absolutely amazing. Will definitely be coming back. Jeanina was an amazing server, for sure loved her Rivera 89 spritz! Will for sure come back for the atmosphere and for the service!!!!
Just went to this new establishment that seems to just have opened not long ago. The food was very good. I did meet the owners and they are French, which is honestly very cool to have in the neighborhood. The service was really good considering that they only opened two weeks ago, which is what I found out from our wonderful server Meredith. For just being a newly opened restaurant, I think they are doing very well and honestly, I can’t wait to see how they grow. I did read a lot of the bad reviews and honestly, I don’t think it’s a fair assessment of the place because they just opened and my experience was not bad at all and I will be back and bring the rest of my family.
My wife requested we try Rivieria 89 on our weekly date night, so I called for a same day 4:30pm reservation on 10/24/26 at 12:34pm. We figured that time based on the restaurant being new to the area and all the Nocatee people who dine early. We arrived at 4:20pm and my reservation was not in their computer, thankfully the restaurant was absolutely empty (not a good start). My wife decided on the Vegetable Lasagna with a side salad and I ordered from the Pasta Atelier section of the menu of Penne Pasta with Pomodoro Sauce, Meatballs and Ciotola (their version of a Bread Bowl). The food was OK, but in my opinion the $34 I spent on the Pasta, Meatballs and Ciotola was not worth the expense. The three $7 meatballs were no bigger than Swedish Meatball Appetizers and the $8 Ciotola was hard like it was microwaved. The areas not covered in sauce was rock hard. The server(s) were fairly attentive, but with no one in the restaurant I expected nothing less. Needless to say with so many Italian Restaurants within a reasonable driving distance this restaurant will not be my 1st, 2nd or 3rd choice in the future. 🥲
Dinner tonight was the Lasagna Bolenese. It was very good. I had a side Ceasar salad that was ordinary. My wife had the onion soup and enjoyed the rich onion and herb flavors.
Great food & service. Highly recommend!
