Let me start by saying the ice cream here is very good. It’s also very expensive - so pricey that I’m pretty sure my two scoops came with equity in a dairy farm. They are out here serving premium dessert in an origami colander. Leaks all over everything. Top-tier flavor, but a total crime against laundry. Bring a rain poncho (and your life savings). (Photo taken on a 78° overcast day, exactly three minutes after walking outside. It is not the melt. It is the bowl. And even if it was the melt, we are in Florida! You cannot serve ice cream in porous tissue paper and act surprised when it immediately surrenders to the swamp)
Emilia and Salma at Mayday Ice Cream in Nocatee are absolute sweethearts! During my visit, a former Bainbridge Nocatee employee and her significant other caused an uncomfortable scene. Their attitude toward me became combative, and they were also disrespectful toward the Mayday employees and other customers nearby. Emilia and Salma handled the difficult situation with kindness, patience, and professionalism. They were incredibly supportive and made me feel safe, cared for, and welcome. Mayday also has an amazing selection of non-dairy ice cream. I’m so happy they offer delicious choices for customers who cannot or prefer not to have dairy. Wonderful treats and truly wonderful employees—I highly recommend this location!
We brought family from Virginia to get ice cream today. They loved the different flavors & service. Chris is always patient & helpful. I'm allergic to dairy so I'm very happy to have dairy free. The upside down is a keeper. Also would love to get the pistachios ice cream again 😋
The service was great and so was the ice cream! Dalton, Gemma and Parker were great!
Love this place! They have the best seasonal flavors of ice cream with home made waffle cones and sprinkles! The staff are always so kind and welcoming. Gabriella is the sweetest and always so helpful. Highly recommend stopping by you will not be disappointed :)
