I’m new to Jax and was looking for a place to get my nails down while my car was being serviced. I went to posh nails and I’m giving one star because they did an okay job on my feet and the staff was very nice. However my nails were a different story. I’ve included pictures of my nails after my appointment as well as the inspo pic I showed my nail tech. The nails came out very bulky and almost bubble like. When he applied the acrylic he didn’t even file them down and shape them. Just went straight into applying the gel. I wouldn’t recommend going here solely because this is the quality you’ll be paying for. In total with tip I paid $160-180 for gel acrylic full set and pedi . I did opt for the blossom pedicure which is the more expensive but not the most expensive one. I’m also used to more hygienic salons and this one didn’t really meet my hygiene standards. I observed the nail tech do the following: he did not use disposable items (files, buffers, pumice stones) putting me at higher risk for infection. I did not see him or any of the techs sanitize any of the metal tools between clients. I watched client's get their nails done one after another and not once did they sanitize the metal nail clipper, cutlice pushers etc. between clients. My own tech didn’t appear to use sanitized tools either. I personally wouldn’t go back.
Loved the atmosphere, the people, and the services! We had the best time today and was completely spoiled! We had three organic pedicures, and two manicures. My daughter and I ended up with designs and an amazing airbrush ombré! The owner went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied with our experience!
When approaching this business 10 minutes before they opened, I was prepared to sit for a few extra mins because I know every business has opening tasks. Door propped open 5 mins early and I was excited!! Why did I end up waiting an EXTRA 15 minutes for the nail tech to arrive! I got a full set with REGULAR polish & he only had to add 3 tips, one of which broke off 2 days later!!!!!!! Online the full set is $40, showed the coupon and he raised the price…. I thought it was weird I was the ONLY customer but now I will take that as a red flag smh. EDITED: Since the owner feels it’s professional to call my review a lie,, I added the online service menu showing the full sets are $40 and my cashapp showing THURSDAY of this week as the service date. My nail broke Saturday!!!
Haven’t had the best of luck finding a good nail salon in Jacksonville yet but my friend wanted to get our nails done in town center and walked into POSH. Both of us had awesome nail techs that were able to give us exactly what we wanted. Both did an amazing job and definitely will come back again.
Amazing experience! Everyone was so friendly and professional. I got a manicure and pedicure, and both turned out beautifully. The staff made me feel welcome and took great care of me. I walked right in with no appointment and was sat. I’ll definitely be returning!
