Bringing Godzilla here was probably one of my best decisions. I’m not quite sure why we picked this ER vet to bring him to when we live almost an hour away but I am so glad that we did. Godzilla’s appetite had changed after being separated from me for about two weeks while I had surgery. We assumed he was just depressed so I changed up his diet. Eventually one day he stopped eating completely and started vomiting up any water intake. I brought him here to PURE and after having scans and labs done, they located two blockages. Dr. Leblanc was very informative about our next steps and we decided to do surgery right away. During surgery everything that could go wrong probably did, besides a few complications with his heart rate, his breathing, they had found that he had a third blockage that was of a rope/fabric substance that not only filled his stomach but went down into his intestines as well. He also had a few perforations in a section of his intestines that was leaking some bile into his abdomen. But Dr. Leblanc was incredible and stuck through it all, her determination is inspiring. After a 7 hour surgery, 30inches of intestines removed, three phone calls updating me with every complication he was having, he made it through. The communication that I received during pre-op, the actual surgery, post-op and during his recovery days was sincerely appreciated and over the top. I’m so satisfied with every single person in this office that cared for him through all of this. Everyone was informative, patient, and kind. Hopefully we will never need to go to another ER vet BUT if we do, we will always choose to drive the almost hour away to here.
We had to take our cat in on Saturday and the staff and Dr Rayner were absolutely fantastic! Everyone was compassionate and professional. We thought we were going to lose him but they performed a procedure that has now given him a chance to live and thrive. They have educated us on his care and dietary changes and we are hoping that we have him for many more years to come. I would and will recommend them for any need with your pets.
On Thursday I had my frenchie Frankie get neutered at a different location and unfortunately he developed complications from it. The location recommended this place since we had to transport him to a 24 hour hospital. If it wasn’t for the doctors and vet techs at this place I wouldn’t have him home right now. They had so much patience and spoiled him rotten while he was under their care and answered all my questions no matter what time it was. It’s so hard to find good doctors and techs that actually care about your fur babies but this location has it all. From now on with any emergency I will take all my pets to this location.
I seriously can’t recommend Pure Animal Hospital enough. My cat Salem had to stay there for a few days, and I was a complete mess worrying about her. Everyone was so kind, patient, and understanding the entire time. They kept me updated, answered all of my questions, and took such great care of Salem. You could tell they genuinely cared about her and weren’t just doing their job. She came home feeling so much better, and now her blood work is completely normal and she’s back to being herself, which is the biggest relief. I honestly can’t thank everyone at Pure enough for everything they did for my girl. If you ever need a vet that truly cares about your pets, this is the place to go. Thank you all so much for taking such amazing care of Salem 🐾
I visited PURE on 07/09 to treat my babygirl Myx, who has cancer. I brought her here to deal with the necrosis on her back. Although I did not leave with good news, which isn’t unexpected given the cancer, I was given some of the most thorough, honest, empathetic, and kind treatment I’ve received through this entire journey. The receptionist Lexie, Dr. LeBlanc, and others I didn’t gather the name or maybe even see treated us so well. Dr. LeBlanc gave me thorough, empathetic explanations and information to everything I asked and didn’t know to ask. They treated my babygirl with empathy and tried to make her as stress free as possible and communicated everything they needed to do to her, and found, very thoroughly. The news I was given was communicated with so much kindness and honesty that although it was not good, it was not hard to swallow. Myx and I genuinely can’t thank this team more for helping her feel better and for the kindness and honesty I was given. If ever need be this is the clinic I would return to.
