I am a little late writing this review, but I promised I would, and the service I received at OfficeMax on Beach Boulevard absolutely deserves to be recognized. I went into OfficeMax with posters I had previously made, but I wanted them recreated brighter, bigger, and in a very specific size. OfficeMax didn't normally carry the exact size I was looking for, so figuring out how to make it work took some creativity. I initially worked with Vance, who was very helpful, and then worked extensively with Evan over the next week and a half. Evan simply would not give up until he figured out how to get everything printed exactly the way I wanted it. There was a LOT of trial and error involved. He tried different programs, different layouts, different sizing options, and made adjustment after adjustment until he found a way to make it work. If something didn't come out quite right, he didn't just say it couldn't be done—he went right back to the computer and tried something else. His determination to get it right was honestly impressive. He spent an incredible amount of time on this project, far more than I ever would have expected anyone to spend. He took so much of the work off my plate, handled the frustrating parts himself, and never once complained or made me feel like I was asking too much. Instead, he remained patient, upbeat, and determined throughout the entire process. It truly felt like he cared just as much as I did about making sure the final product was exactly what I wanted. Because this process took place over about a week and a half, I also had the opportunity to get to know Evan a little bit. He is genuinely such a great young man with an amazing personality. He's personable, patient, hardworking, funny, and incredibly easy to work with. Customer service like this is rare, and Evan went so far above and beyond simply doing his job. I already know I'll be going back because I have several more posters that I need printed on large paper. This time, I won't have to worry about whether we can figure it out because I know exactly where I'm going and who I trust to get it done—and get it done perfectly. Vance and especially Evan are wonderful representatives of OfficeMax. Evan made my job easier, saved me an incredible amount of time and frustration, and turned what could have been a headache into a great experience. I truly hope management recognizes what exceptional employees they have in both Evan and Vance. I worked with the store supervisor Shipton. He was very good at helping me and taking care of what I needed to accomplish It was a bunch of different small pieces of a big puzzle. He was very knowledgeable and could solve any issue that I had. I highly recommend his store and him personally.

I only needed to print a single sheet of paper today, and yet again, the employee at the printing station completely refused to help me. In the past, I’ve had issues with their self-serve printer not returning the required $5 temporary hold charge. Previously, helpful staff members let me email the document directly to the front desk to print it. However, every time I’ve visited recently, there is a new employee who rudely claims "they don’t do that anymore." Even when staff members did help me in the past, they acted incredibly annoyed and made me feel completely unwelcome. It makes no sense why they even staff the printing station if they refuse to assist walk-in customers. If they are only there to fulfill online orders, it’s a massive waste of space and staff. This location is poorly run and the staff is incredibly unhelpful. If this is the closest store to you, do yourself a favor: drive a little further to a different location where the employees actually care about customer service.

Good products, but higher prices on most things. I found their ink is the only good deal, and that is because they have the turn in ink program. There customer service also isn't the best.
