Nocatee Fitness Club

Begging on my hands and knees for an expansion to this gym. It’s far from being a bad facility and a couple recent additions are heading in the right direction (preacher curl), but for example not having an adductor/abductor machine and zero barbells for a gym serving a community as large as Nocatee is frankly embarrassing. 3 stars because it mostly gets the job done for me, but a few incredibly vital things missing that are sorely needed to match up to the facilities of neighboring communities.

It really needs to be cleaned and machines need to be serviced or replaced. The bigger issue is that it is way too small and, while I appreciate young kids and teens wanting to workout and stay healthy, they come in pairs or groups and are very unaware of other people. They take over all the machines, chat in the walkways, and make a lot of noise and distraction. At some point it becomes unfair to the adult homeowners paying a lot of $ to live here. The other issue is its 80% men and there is no cozy corner, stretching corner, light weights, or adductor machines - particularly for women who need a space to workout. Please build another fitness center 18+. Please clean the existing gym (the dust is atrocious for people with allergies and asthma!). Please put something on the TV other than the news. Please make space for women.

Put wallet and other belongs in one of the cubby lockers and someone stole all my cash while working out

I agree with some others comments… gym is clean, has some equipment. However, for the size of our community, The gym should be larger with more equipment, like a couple of rowing machines and equipment that has dual applications while in use would be most helpful. I hope the gym expansion and equipment update is in the future plans.
