Nice Find Thriftique & Fix It Shop

I dropped off a couple of light fixtures to get rewired... The results were more than I had asked for. For example, my antique table lamp. The cord he chose for it looks antique! He could have just used a modern cord...but he didn't I'm so thankful I went there! In addition they have some really unique items in the shop... Including jewelry!

Super great owners Jim and wife, had good talk.fixing hi fi for me. Jim has fixed many vintage hi fi for me, all play like brand new again. My receivers cd players turntables all vintage, jim is a excellent hi fi specialist that does the job right. Enjoy my music greatly And there store has really nice collectibles beautiful different pieces of artwork, glass, metal, wood, lamps, paintings, jewelry, toys, from all different vintage years, beautiful preserved, and excellent condition, many different pieces to look at. Highly recommended. Just received back my pioneer sx 1280, wasn't working right, had Jim do full refurbishing. Very happy , this pioneer just sounds super good. Jim uses quality high end replacement parts, he is very thorough, and knowledgeable and excellent experience, is outstanding. Jim is the only person, that will fix my vintage right, and the sound so good.

Nice shop with an excellent “fix it” man on hand. I went in with a mid century goose neck lamp in need of repair. I personally am very handy and was hoping to get the parts to fix it myself. After meeting with the repair guy (I forgot his name, sorry) he sold me the part I needed and gave me advice on the issues I may encounter. It was awesome. The part was correct, reasonably priced and when accompanied by the advice I was able to fix it myself. It was lovely shop as well. I will definitely return in the future. Thanks guys.

Not only does this place have a nice shop to look for rare things you can't find at your typical retail store, but they also do professional audio equipment repairs and restorations. I dropped off a 30 year old JVC Cassette Deck that needed a lot of work with Jim who does all the audio gear servicing and it is now fully working as if brand new! It's a great place that is easy to find and plenty of parking which is not the case when you get into the nearby historic district which is just a walk down the road.
