Just wanted nice gel nails after being bed-bound from surgery for so long and right after a nice haircut next door, but left feeling unsatisfied with two cuticles bleeding. I guess I'll just do my own nails or travel farther for better service.
If I could give this salon 0 stars, I would. I came here only to have my acrylic nails removed, and I left in pain and feeling completely mistreated. I do not recommend seeing Nancy. She was extremely rough while removing my acrylics. I told her several times that she was hurting me, but she continued without slowing down, checking on me, or apologizing. The pain was so intense that I had tears in my eyes. At one point I became hot from the pain and asked if I could use a hand fan to cool off. Instead of helping, she refused and pointed me toward a ceiling fan that was barely moving. When the removal was finally finished, instead of acknowledging what I had experienced, she told me that "no damage was really being done because the nails were already lifting." That didn't change the fact that the process was extremely painful and my nails were left burning afterward. I understand that acrylic removal can be uncomfortable, but it should never be this painful or handled without care or concern for the client. A simple apology or a gentler approach would have made a big difference. Unfortunately, I left feeling ignored, dismissed, and with sore, burning nails.
Nice people, but the quality is not great for the prices. I got my nails done for an out of town trip, and while on the trip, my nails (real nails)started chipping and breaking. All my nails bout broke, I came back and told them, they didn't apologize or anything, I let them do my nails again thinking I would get a free set or a discount but they charged me $65 for a full set and when I mentioned what happen with my last nail job, she laughed and took off $5. I WILL NOT BE BACK!! Oh, and the nails are not even done right, I asked her for natural look and she shaped them oval, theres so much wrong with these nails that i could mention but i wont, im just done. I dont like them, but I don't mean, so I paid for them anyway.
I would give this place zero stars if I could. They will not speak loudly to you and they're wearing their masks so if you're slightly hard of hearing you don't have any idea what they're saying but they will speak very loud to their coworkers in their native language. Why can't he speak louder to me? Also I was not offered to beverage in addition I was left sitting there with cold feet while he decided to go talk to somebody. I got up in the middle of the pedicure and just said screw it I'm done. This place sat me down in a dirty chair which I went ahead and wiped down myself and they didn't bother to change out the dirty towel I tried not to make a big deal about it because I was trying to have a good day but apparently You don't get good service at Nail studio. When I told the guy why I was leaving he barely acknowledged it and said sorry very very low as if he were mocking me. With customer service like that I suspect they'll be out of business pretty soon.
I had wonderful service. Rosie was meticulous and she is quite talented. I showed her an image and she replicated it exactly. Each one of my nails is even and matches. Absolutely beautiful work.
