So I do really like this nail salon. I’ve been going to the same nail salon for years and recently switch to Venetian because I moved. I have never had this happen before. I came here, got a fresh full set of acrylics, after 1 week I saw an infection on my nails under the acrylic and I should see it showing through the nude paint. After coming here one time, I had to take them off to heal my nails. This place does good job, but maybe be better with sanitation practices.
Came to this salon because it was close to my house by my nails are very sloppily done, from the builder gel to the French tips and the services were extremely over priced I paid $86 dollars for $40 work I could have done a better job myself
I have gone here quite a few times and I used to love going here. The last 3 times service has been terrible. They seem to be in a rush to get you out and on to the next client. I went at different times each of the visits over the last 3 times and it didn’t matter if it was busy or not the quality of the paint application was sloppy and the water for the pedicure cold. I went somewhere different today and was reminded of how a pedicure and manicure should be. The prices are too high here for the low quality. I don’t mind paying more if I’m getting better quality but at Venetian you pay more for lower quality. It wasn’t always this way but this place has definitely gone down in quality.
I had a dip manicure and gel pedicure last Sunday, I was going out of town on Thursday for a wedding. The pedicure was good but the polish is not super neat (French) and I had asked for a specific color and the tech initially was skipping color altogether until I asked about the color, and it was applied. Then the manicure was initially a gel manicure but for durability the tech (Hannah) suggested a dip polish since it was Sunday and the wedding was the following Saturday. I had also asked for the same color which did come in a dip, I did not get the color I asked for and the dip polish French manicure seemed rushed. The nails are thick, and by the 2nd day they were lifting on a couple. I had them done Sunday as it was the only day off I had before traveling across the country to be in this wedding. They are cracking and breaking like crazy. They look like they are 4 weeks old. I have never had nails that didn’t last at least a week. It was $120 total plus a $20 tip. I won’t be returning, I used to come here regularly and always had a pretty good experience, but I guess Venitian is no longer on my list.
I wanted to thank Holly for the pleasant experience. She did a great job on my manicure and pedicure. I recently had a knee replacement and she was very gentle, and even though she could not massage that leg, she did a very lovely massage with the warm river rocks on just the bottom of that foot, she was so thoughtful and kind. Getting a good manicure and pedicure is easy to find, being treated with your warm kindness is hard to come by. Thank you again.
