My friend and I had 5:00 p.m. appointments for pedicures and full sets. Our pedicures went great, which is the only reason I am leaving two stars rather than one. However, the manicure experience was unacceptable. During my manicure, I was burned several times by the dremel. I complained about the pain, and while Cindy changed the dremel tip to a different one, I did not notice any sort of sanitization happening. As more customers began waiting, my manicure became extremely rushed. This resulted in the top coat never being applied to my left hand, leaving the nails sticky. Unfortunately, I didn't notice this until it was too late to turn back around. Today, I woke up with multiple burn wounds on my fingers and am in quite a bit of pain. Due to the lack of sterilization and the injuries sustained, I am deeply concerned about the hygiene and safety standards at this establishment. I definitely will not be going back.
My first time going to this salon and it was AMAZING! The lady who did my nails did an incredible job with the detail I asked for and the service was amazing she was gentle and kind took her time with the service and made my nails look so good I have never had a better experience in a salon before I never used to like going bcuz I would end up with burns or wounds but I have absolutely none and I feel so beautiful!! Also a very reasonable price for the details I recived and wanted!!!! Will definitely be going back again soon!
My favorite nail salon. These ladies are so consistent with their work and so kind and friendly. They love conversing with their customers and making them feel like family. 😊 Very clean salon and it is in such a great location. Thank you Jenny and the other wonderful ladies who worked so hard on my nails! See you soon!
I purchased a manicure for my wife as it was our anniversary a few weeks ago. My wife was going to let me pick the place, and after several calls and reading many reviews I believe Moda Nails was the right selection! The entire shop was super clean, the staff was very friendly, and the overall experience (as my wife says) was a 10 out of 10. It was great place and my wife was happy.
I needed to have my nails fixed from a previous salons poorly done job and decided to try this salon based on reviews. Salon is next to the Publix which is under renovation. Don’t let the construction stop you from popping in to the salon. It’s clean and bright and Tina did a fantastic job on my new set of nails. She was kind and attentive and I felt the price to pull off the acrylics and replace with the dip option was reasonable. I chose the second option on the pedicure menu and couldn’t have been happier. I have to say this is the first pedicure that’s left my heels soft for longer than a couple of days. The lady that administered the pedicure was very kind and methodical. I would definitely recommend this shop and have already made my fill in appointment to come back. Bonus: Jerry’s grill is right next door where the hubby can have a pint while he waits on me 😎
