Stopped in for lunch, location is along other strip storefronts. A cozy restaurant with a decent amount of seating, with both tables and booth seats. Menu offers a good variety of expected Cuban dishes, lots of choice for what you’d want for a casual lunch or dinner. I ordered a coffee (cortadito), a few tamal, and a bowl of chicken soup. Prices range from decent to a bit high, but the portion sizes more than carry their weight in value for money. Tamal were soft, piping hot & almost buttery, while the chicken soup was full of quality veggies and large chunks of tender chicken. Well seasoned all around, but not too salty, giving you the option to add more salt & pepper to taste. Staff was friendly and attentive, checking on me a few times through my meal, and offering refills of water with my coffee. The menu warns that after ordering the wait time might be a bit more than you’d expect as they make everything to order, and this was true, but as long as you keep that expectation in mind you’ll have a hearty, filling meal at a casual pace. An easy recommend for a lunch, will be back to try more of the menu.
Went for lunch on Friday with my husband. Had the sampler appetizer and sandwiches and of course the tamales 🫔 All very good, tasted good and the service was good. The sandwiches are huge by the way. No complaints 😊 I think i would like to try it out again soon.
This place was so yummy! I got the Bistec and it was delicious my boyfriend got the picadillo. The restaurant is so clean and the service is great :) definitely should check this place out if you like Cuban food. We will be coming back to try more of the menu.
Nice quiet atmosphere for a business lunch meeting. Service was prompt and friendly. Food came out quickly and portion sizes more than enough to allow for 2 or maybe 3 servings out of 1 order. I would not normally choose a Cuban type food but this has changed my mind. The chicken and rice with plantains has made me a new fan.
The Ropa. Vijea black beans yellow rice and Cuba both delicious. Server could have offered drinks sooner. We were only ones in and I walked up to the counter to order also would have had another round of drinks if she had checked on us as drinks got lower. Over all yummy and will be back. Very clean other than no toilet paper in restroom. Price good for serving size.
