I happened to have the day off and decided to check out a spot close to home. This spot had been on my short list of local places, and finally, today was the day to check it out. Clara's Tidbits has a variety of lunch options consisting mostly of your standard lunch fare of soups, salads, sandwiches. The Saturday special happened to be the Chicken Salad Sandwich, which is what I was planning to order, so I was pleasantly surprised to get my meal at a slightly lesser cost. I approached the counter to order and the server was happy to answer questions regarding what was included with the meal (pita sandwich with choice of side plus a drink). It came out to be $13 plus tip which is pretty reasonable these days. The establishment itself is very clean and there was plenty of seating during lunch time. Parking should also not be an issue. The setting itself is very casual, but the food was high quality. As for the food itself, the chicken salad was seasoned excellently and didn't have that weird taste sometimes associated with refrigerated chicken. The pasta salad was tasty, and the fountain soda was properly carbonated and flavored. It also came out within 5 or so minutes of ordering it. Give this place a shot!

So nice to have a new spot for casual lunch on the island! The food was great, service even better! I had the Mediterranean wrap with pasta salad, my hubby had the chicken salad sandwich w a side of potato salad, and my daughter had the half sammy, cup of broccoli cheddar soup. Wait time was minimal. Will be back!
Best lunch I have had in a while. Ordered individual sandwiches for my team for lunch. Each one was in its own individual packaging with the side making it easy to distribute. Food was absolutely delicious. One of my coworkers who is usually picky said it was the best sandwich he had had in a long time! I definitely recommend.
Met friends for lunch on Thursday this past week. It was pretty busy but the line was quick and we only waited about 6 minutes to place our orders. This is my 2nd visit and I was excited to try something different. I ordered the half sandwich and soup. Bacon avocado pita. The pita itself was good but the homemade ranch wasn't. So the sandwich just tasted like bacon and Swiss cheese.The broccoli cheddar soup was bland and the broccoli was hard. I did order the peach bread pudding for our table to try. It was dry and hard in some places. The peach topping was tasty though. The counter staff and servers were very professional and attentive.
