The knowledge Dr. Greshake has with pets far exceeds any vet I have used in the area. Dr. Greshake has officially saved 3 of my pets lives in the last few years, 2 of them in the last 3 months. The staff there are warm and welcoming, and very compassionate to me and my pets. The vet techs were also very knowledgeable. I brought in my diabetic dog and Dr. Greshake was able to direct me to the correct care since it was found that my dog had aspiration pneumonia. My dog stayed overnight in their care, helping him breathe, and monitored his blood sugars, and then provided me with a log of his sugars and delivered insulin as well. Most recently, I had to bring my cat in with a bladder blockage. I saw Dr. Hicks the first night, who was amazing and very compassionate to me and my cat. My cat did stay there a few nights and eventually had to have surgery at another location. The staff and Dr. Greshake helped arrange his care with me and were very kind and considerate with explaining the upcoming costs. I was able to come visit my cat each evening during the 3 night stay. Also, like any ER vet, call ahead, because if there are too many cases, they may not be able to see your pet right away. I did have to wait for an hour once to visit my cat because they had emergency cases there at that time. Hands down I will take my pets here for emergency and I plan to switch my general appts to this office as well.
Great Service! Fair prices! Let’s be real it’s not cheap to care for your pets in an emergency situation, but good care and proper updates make up for the cost. I took my cat here in an emergency urinal blockage situation, and it was stressful and heartbreaking but the staff helped me through this tough time. It was costly, as all animal services can be but it was nothing compared to the corporate places. And I feel like my pet is being cared for whole heartedly in his time of need. I had to leave him in their care for 3 days and they always called with updates, and took my calls when I needed to hear that he was okay. I am grateful this is where google took me, and I appreciate everyone on staff for taking such good care of my baby.
Friendly staff and the doctor did try his best, but it was Quite pricey. They never did learn what went wrong with our pet and we ended up losing her to some type of poisoning she had ingested. A second opinion from another vet finally answered this for us.
What a wonderful compassionate professionals. I brought my dog in this morning after he collapsed. They acted quickly and tried everything to save my Barkley but he passed. It was the most traumatic experience watching my dog dying but the doctors and technicians were so supportive and respectful of my feelings. They hugged me tight , they consoled me, they were sincerely touched by my lost. What wonderful humans. I will be forever grateful to each of the staff who were present today and tried their best to save the life of Barkley. God Bless them. Thank you !
I cant remember the vet names who saw me and my dog Ellie , it was a woman at the end of the business day and she noticed a mass on my dogs lip and immediately told me i needed to get it biopsy and informed me she was unable to do it that day due to office closure and another vet being needed. She came back into the room and told me she wanted to be honest and thought it was a mast cell tumor and its aggressive cancer and she wanted to prepare me for the results when they came in. Results came in today and she was correct. To have a vet be so honest , kind and direct prepared me when i got the results today and i am forever grateful for her for that.
